The Drifters recorded on Atlantic Records from 1953 to 1972. All the Drifters hits you know were recorded in that period (a few minor hits were recorded on Bell Records with the Johnny Moore-led Drifters until the '80s). There were over 30 members of the recording group though those years, nearly all of them now deceased. Charlie Thomas ("Sweets For My Sweets", "When My Little Girl Is Smiling") and Bobby Hendricks ("Drip Drop") are the only living members that sang lead on any of the Drifters' single releases, as of 2016.......................these guys you see singing here have no more to do with the actual Drifters than you do, this leader-guy's name-dropping notwithstanding. These quys were kids when these songs were recorded!

I saw the Drifters in the early 1980s, in Roof Top gardens, Wakefield, Leeds. They were brilliant. Amazing, and as far as I am concerned The Drifters. OK.

The rendition of Like Sister & Brother was sublime (sung by the guy with excellent pipes) but pretty average otherwise. Hey ho.
The lead guy is Jerome Jackson the “new” lead Drifter (25 yrs). I saw them last night in Folsom and he was there with 3 other guys who’ve rotated in and out of the band since 1970s. They were all in their 70s/80s and did an amazing job
Oh god very poor im in the uk and i was trying to find a good tribute band to take my elderly mother to one last time but cant find anything good enough in the uk to take her to. If anyone knows of any that are better than this lot please tell me. Mum is 82 but she hasnt lost her hearing and wouldnt enjoy this.

They bear almost no resemblence. If you go you won’t be disappointed. They played to a packed audience in Swansea and they did the original Drifters proud x

Just seen the UK Drifters 4 times in 2018, much of an embarrisment as this lot. Just a glorified tribute band at least the US line up sang all Drifter songs though why they have to include Ben's numbers with so much Drifters back catologue available I do not know? Johnny would certainly turn in his grave. Butch Leak from the 70's line up is trying for a reunion from that era with Michael Williams Guesting. Keep a look out. Don't get involved though with promoter Jack O'shea he is a con-man and steals fans hard earned ticket money, cancells shows with no refunds.
