I can understand if you don't like the way our president speaks, but I can say that almost everybody in the Ph loves him. Why such a big deal for both countries? Just make a Landfield out from it. I'm FilAm I see many Landfield in diffirent locations in Chicago and its suburbs. They made the landfield a golfcourse, a park. The grass, trees and plants actually look very healthy because of the decomposed matters. The new one I see being sold for us in our garden and yards are the recycled shoe rubber soles. In the school of my kid they field it with recycled rubber shoes. It's actually safer for kids to play in the playground. On the other part Philippines has long been suffering from its own garbage/trash but as a Filipino that grew up on an island away from the populated Manila, my own father dig a hole/pit every so often for our garbage disposal then cover it with soil to decompose. He also plant trees and vegetables on top of it that is more greener and healthier than the rest. My dad was not an environmentalist but was a gradeschool teacher and a farmer that use common sense for the good of the environment. Philippines is not all you see as slums/trash. You go to the provinces/islands we live a peaceful, simple life with greens and oceans around us. I understand there are many Canadians now that chose the Philippines as their home and the same thing with Filipinos. I just saw Canada in the border of Niagara falls but it looks like a beautiful country. My late Mom/Dad has no Canadian Visa that's why we were not able to cross the border. I work in janitorial here in Canada, and I notice that the people don't know how to reduce and recycle here in Canada. When will people learn that waste reduction starts with you and not with the companies tasked with sorting and disposing our garbage. Please be mindful when you shop and use products. Don't accept extra shopping bags if you can carry the item in your hand. Don't just throw out clothes and electronics every couple of years just because they're out of style or obsolete. Don't just think everything is that is disposable is recyclable (i.e. Timmie's Coffee Cups et al).

Why such a big deal for both countries? Just make a Landfield out from it. I'm FilAm I see many Landfield in diffirent locations in Chicago and its suburbs. They made the landfield a golfcourse, a park. The grass, trees and plants actually look very healthy because of the decomposed matters. The new one I see being sold for us in our garden and yards are the recycled shoe rubber soles. In the school of my kid they field it with recycled rubber shoes. It's actually safer for kids to play in the playground. On the other part Philippines has long been suffering from its own garbage/trash but as a Filipino that grew up on an island away from the populated Manila, my own father dig a hole/pit every so often for our garbage disposal then cover it with soil to decompose. He also plant trees and vegetables on top of it that is more greener and healthier than the rest. My dad was not an environmentalist but was a gradeschool teacher and a farmer that use common sense for the good of the environment. Philippines is not all you see as slums/trash. You go to the provinces/islands we live a peaceful, simple life with greens and oceans around us. I understand there are many Canadians now that chose the Philippines as their home and the same thing with Filipinos. I just saw Canada in the border of Niagara falls but it looks like a beautiful country. My late Mom/Dad has no Canadian Visa that's why we were not able to cross the border. I work in janitorial here in Canada, and I notice that the people don't know how to reduce and recycle here in Canada. When will people learn that waste reduction starts with you and not with the companies tasked with sorting and disposing our garbage. Please be mindful when you shop and use products. Don't accept extra shopping bags if you can carry the item in your hand. Don't just throw out clothes and electronics every couple of years just because they're out of style or obsolete. Don't just think everything is that is disposable is recyclable (i.e. Timmie's Coffee Cups et al).
