I'm 76 and just over 90 days on animal based/carnivore. The greatest impact for me has been a major improvement in my mental wellbeing. I've had no negative moody days at all.
Hi Michelle. Nice to find another Kiwi on here! I've been on carnivore for 2.5 years at this stage. I grew up in the Wellington region so I know how hilly it is and how the weather can be... Using the stairs in your building is the perfect idea. Dairy can stall weightloss for a lot of people, but some of us just lose slowly when there's a lot of healing to do as well. I'll look forward to your updates! 😊
Hi Sue, seeing your face I now remember that it was one of your videos that helped convince me that this way of eating wasn't so crazy after all! I found your story and video so encouraging. Thank you!
Kia Ora Michelle, you’re doing a good job. Im 90% carnivore still dealing with carb cravings etc. but I’m too afraid to weigh myself so I don’t know how I’m doing🤨I’ve just finished a sardine fast now doing 2mad 🇳🇿
Good on you! How do you feel after the sardine fast? Going zero carbs is what kicked the cravings for me; the idea of having zero carbs kinda screwed with my head, but once I gave it a go it made me realise how much 'free-er' I felt when I don't have cravings.
Kia Ora! Thank you for being honest. I appreciate that. It keeps me as a subscriber. You feel differently than when you started. You have a stronger awareness. You are holding yourself more accountable. You have not quit (even after the "off plan" stuff).
It’s great that you cut back on dairy, but you can’t think of real cheese as you do other dairy products like heavy cream and milk and yogurt or cottage cheese. Cheers has very, very low carbohydrate and is almost 100% fat. Jesus great for you on a carnivore diet. You just have to make sure it’s real cheese. Milk, especially low-fat or 2% or skim is one of the worst things you can have on a carnivore diet because they still have all of the lactose, but none of the fat to balance out the lactose. Believe it or not scammed milk will make you gain weight very very quickly. Do you want 100% complete fat in everything. No low-fat anything.
No way, I'm in Welly too. When it comes to coffee, before I gave it up, I moved to having butter in it instead of cream and milk. It has waaaaaaay less carbs. Hope this helps. I also now buy fat offcuts from my butcher too. 😊 Edit: Rebecca's story is so powerful
It was because I saw you recommend New World to someone that I asked at my New World for fat off-cuts... thank you! You also mentioned Wildfire in your Dave Mac interview so we're going there this weekend for our anniversary dinner!! Thanks Floyd. :-)

Loving your videos. Super helpful and real without the fluff and hype.
