0:35 A330-200*, Turkish changed their aircraft last minute haha
haha
Please, fly Myanmar National Airlines
土耳其航空正嗎?
No wonder it was full hahaha, squished into a smaller aircraft
Like always with TK...
Hi Jayden meal looked really nice. Good service on Turkish Airline thank you for the video.
So envious of your travels, Turkish Airlines look incredible. I didn’t know much about them before watching this
I’ve been working as a check in agent for Turkish Airlines this summer and the crew is always so friendly. Went to the aircraft to hand them out the load sheet and they gave me drinks and instant coffee 😅
An amazing airline which I’m going to fly with in September
oh wow that's nice of them😍 cheers Leander
Thanks Jayden for another informative and entertaining vlog review! 👍🏻
Great video, Jayden! Oslo airport looked pretty amazing. It’s nice to see the good service as well. It looks like Turkish lived up to their reputation in the food department. Glad you had a great flight.
It wasn't a bad wait at all, the airport was quiet and peaceful haha! Thanks Mike! :)
great flight as always i enjoyed flying with you greetings from the netherlands glad to see you in europe
Another very good video Jayden, well done! Look forward to seeing the next sectors to KUL and ADL 🙂
Coming very soon my dear friend😁😁😁
Amazing Jayden!! Really enjoyed this one!!
I’m glad, thanks Alex!!😁
Thanks for posting.
Great video. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Wish you could bring back some warm weather from Europe to us here in cold Adelaide.
Oh, I like that light behind you, very smooth! 🙂
Fantastic to see that Turkish Airlines has brought back full service!! Despite being busy the Lounges had great food options 👍
Yep and comfy furniture too. And OMG that shower room🥵❤️❤️
Yes Oslo Airport is great,Turkis Airlines is the best in Europe,Good job
I've always bee a fan of Turkish AIrways. I've flown with them twice and both times were amazing. Thanks for sharing the trip
my pleasure Taylor thank you!!
Hi Taylor. It's the extreme opposite experience with our 2 lousy flights RT SFO-IST especially our return flight. Paying $4,200 for each was really not worth it. It was one of our worst flights. But we had a very nice time in Turkey especially our Air Balloon ride in Goreme, Kappadokya, Bosphorus Cruise up to the Black Sea and at the White Cotton Castle Travertine in Pamukkale. Food was amazing not the Turkish Airlins food and crew.
Happy Travels.
Turkish airlines is amazing, i always fly them and never have a bad experience, i got a full meal on a 1:40 flight from zagreb to istanbul! great inflight show/movie selection and interface too.
Cool! Another trip report! I'm currently on vacation to Florida and the Bahamas on the MSC Divina. It's currently midnight in Georgia right now.
wow enjoy your vacation my friend!!!
Thanks for this vlog. Fly safe. Ciao.
thank you Lawrence :)
Sorry I have been so behind in all your amazing videos. I am catching up now! We have to catch up again when you are back in Adelaide! Take care and safe travels Hsiang
Haha no worries Hsiang!! Nice to see you back in the comment section😁
Your long wait in Oslo was good for me 😀
Good fun and cheek in the SAS-sy lounge with the hukes and shower.
Great trip report in spite of your health condition. Thank you.
I am planning to send you a bit of history about Istanbul. 😂
Also, I hadn't seen the Q&A ,(got distracted), it was great too.
You answered the question about "personal" information very well, I think.
Ya can't go wrong with Wong. 💁🏼♂️
Hahaha Thanks Stevo. Can never go wrong with me indeed😈😈
Awesome!!
thanks francis!
It is the amazing video👏Greetings from Istanbul
Thank you very much! 😁
It's always interesting to see destinations I haven't visited. This is a really cool video that gives a good insight into Oslo Airport, Turkish Airlines & a little on Istanbul. The first thing I noticed was just how far the control tower was on landing!. That is a long way away. It was Turkish Airways that first gave me Hilton Honors Gold on my smile. (Thank you if you read this reps).
You should be a travel writer Jayden. You do an amazing job.
haha wow I didn’t even notice! I’ve thought about it, maybe in the future or if someone offers me a job haha
@@JaydenWong You haven't heard of the National Geographic Travel Writer Program? My friend won it & they pay for her to travel the world & write reviews. She spends a lot of time in the Maldives, but lives in Hong Kong.
Wonderful ! 👍
thanks Mahmood!!
Another good one as always bro..
thanks Aidan!!
@@JaydenWong Bro call me Zach.
Nice trip report Jayden👌. Liked
thanks Joshua!!
That shower looked cold! 🥶 thanks for another bril trip report Jayden 👍🏼 do you bump into many of your fans/subs along your travels?
I answered this question in the Q&A at the end of this video!! But short and people is yes haha
@@JaydenWong omg you did! I got too excited writing a comment before watching till the end 🤭 Caught! …thanks for the reply (and also for this weeks video, while you’re feeling sick!)
Bro now onwards i just not gonaa miss your any videos 👍️It has been seven days since i am watching your videos and yours videos are just awesome 🎊
haha thanks that's very nice of you :)
I love it
Keep it up💥
thank you!!
11:05 Pork on Turkish Airlines? Amazing!
wouldnt be
no pork haha my bad
Wow that landing was smooth, I would have applauded the pilots too. Great video mate, I love your style of trip reports. Out of curiosity, how come you do so much travelling in the first place? Is it for work/leisure, or for the sake of it?
Thanks .I have flown THY from Tokyo to Istanbul , Istanbul to London , London to Istanbul , Istanbul to Singapore and Dublin to Athens via Istanbul .I agree that it's an excellent airline with first rate food ; almost like eating at a restaurant
.Their' network , particularly in Europe , is amazing .There has long
long been talk about THY flying to Australia , but nothing has eventuated so far ...Hopefully one day ..........
Turkish airlines food is by far the best. Turkish food is already the best in the world. I flew to japan with emirates. food was really bad. On long trips, food is more important.
Emirates was very bad going dubai-osaka
And tokyo-dubai.
Great video, Jayden
Hey Jayden! I've heard great things about TK catering and that meal looked good. Pretty sure the mince wasn't pork as pork isn't part of Turkish cuisine due to halal rules. Nice report as always!
Ahh true about the pork!! Thanks Aris!!
Yes, I had the same thought. "That's got to be a mistake". "There is no way a Turkish airline would be serving a pork dish". 😱🤣.
Yeah bro my friends and I cringed when we saw that. Actually what you ate is a lovely traditional dish called Karnıyarık, which translates to "Split Belly" lol. It is made from brinjal and minced beef usually served with rice pilaf. Any Turk will tell you its one of their fav dishes! Anyway great video. We look forward to your connecting flight to KUL. Cheers
Another interesting vlog Jayden
thanks Ted😁😁
what an amazing view of Istanbul at night, all those pretty lights, looks amazing flying over them. one of the questions was.. how can you afford to fly - i thought you got free flights being a frequent flyer ? that food looked amazing, yum. Ive never heard of Turkish Airlines before, but they seemed quite a good airline. thanks for the great trip report
Indeed, would definitely try to fly in during the day next time.
The more I fly, the more videos I can make, the more I get paid from UA-cam! Turkish Airlines is known for covering the most countries in the world, but not Australia, yet, LOL
Amazing
thanks for watching!!
Nice review! Just to let you know 11:04 wouldn't be pork its most likely beef/lamb. Its a dish called Karniyarik.
Ahh Karniyarik it is! Thanks mate!
Hi greeting from Albania country.your videos that you made are fantastic and super..
thank you Bledar! Greetings from Sydney Australia!
I flew with Turkish airlines a few years ago on Economy class from London to Istanbul which is less then a 4 hours flight. I loved their service and that they provided a delicious, healthy free lunch on their flights, as well as their airline being a affordable and reasonable price. Not many airlines would do this, on some airlines, even on a 6 hour flight, you won't get a snack or water and have to pay for a meal. If Turkish airlines was a option, to reach my destination, I most definitely would fly with them again.
totally, Turkish Airlines deserves more recognition for its generous offering and wide seats on B777!
Hi Jayden 👋. What a nice comprehensive review. 👍💯. Turkish Airlines has been well known for quite some time for their meal service, especially in Economy Class and for their reasonable fares. Recently, I have seen several reviews pointing out that they seem to be reducing the level of their meal service in Business Class, which seems rather difficult for me to believe. 🤔 If you ever get a chance, I would really enjoy and appreciate having you do a review of Turkish Business Class. As you know, I tend to believe your airline reviews are more "trustworthy" than most other UA-camrs' reviews. 👍😊. Take care buddy and have an enjoyable and relaxing weekend.
I did think about upgrading to business class for my next flight, but decided to save up for next time🤣🤣 Did not regret sticking with economy class, their 777 is very comfy!
I've read that their service with a Chef is back. I hope they will not change their Do & Co catering.
Wow...nice trip bro...
thanks man!!
Ooh. Amazing 🫡🫡
thanks for watching!
great review as always -- I have flown Turkish many times, both in business and economy and while both the hard product and soft product are average, the food is outstanding. The hard product being the seats and amenities which sometimes are better on Emirates or Qatar - the movie selection is definitely better on Emirates. But if you enjoyed the food here, try Business Class. I normally go from Houston to Istanbul and the flight departs at 9pm - they start serving at 9:30p and don't finish until midnight - that much food is served and its all generally good
Hello, thank you for the review. One small note, 11:28 you mentioned that it is pork and rice, but as stated in TK webpage, foods are halal. So it is beef instead of pork. Overall, it was a humble and good review. Have a nice flight.
Thanks for watching & the info!
Turkish is one of the best, if not the best European airline in my opinion. The food quality is always good. Even tho some aircraft like this A330-200 is not very modern on the hard product side, usually the soft product makes up. Its even better when your onboard newer TK aircraft because both the hard and soft product are good.
TK officially is a 3* airline, but they give you by far the best inner european economy AND business class. Especially they are light years better than a former officially european 5* airline.
no way 3*😳
That's because they didn't bribe Skytrax enough!
@@JaydenWong It's four now, but now people want it to be 3 stars again since there some complains about the service.
Couldn’t be pork … Great vid as always mate…
Ah true!!
enjoyable clip. Can you share some tips about getting attractive airfares and hotels.. And if any apps or webpages must have ones also share with us.. thank
Hi Jayden
It's good to see you being a " jetsetter" again 😀
You really are getting around the world now covid restrictions have eased !
Although I find it hard to believe that in crowded airports , that masks still aren't needed.
That was a decent meal that was served in economy !!!
Jayden Wong nice flight bro
thanks for watching mate!
Turkish Airlines serves of the best on board meal of any airline be it for long or short haul flights.
Love this video for a few new reasons and that's great. First you add in some humor such as the shower 🚿 😂... Secondly...your Q and A is more personal now which does not look rehearsed... Thumbs up! Some comments... The lady at the gate does not look happy... Yup as expectedly I like the fact too like asian carriers we tend to enjoy wide body aircraft even for short hauls and a full meal service. Though I hate egg plant yup like you the fact that the rice seems steamy and moist is awesome! I like you also do not like self check in it's not personal and yes I nvr can get the bag tagging right 🙂. I admire you for being very careful in your spending and like yourself I rather not shop unnecessarily. I rather keep it for ppl that deserve more and for trips since young! Good on you and stay safe and keep being the happy you! 🇸🇬🙂
I love
Turkish airlines
Turkish airlines absolutely amazing airline
i agree ;)
@@JaydenWong yes I flew with them from Bangkok to Istanbul after arriving from sydney
Is that ‘speed tape’ on the flap @8:40??
hi jayden im plannig to fly to australia next year to syney. do you know some hotels i can stay.
Scandinavian "hygge" is cool in the UK at the moment but it looks as if it was Turkish Airlines that have achieved the concept better
Do you have to pay for food and drink at the domestic lounge or it’s part of the flight deal? 😊
You’ll need a membership with the airline or partner airline :) or fly in business class.
Try Eva Air long haul business class, you won’t be disappointed! 😁
hopefully soon!!
Turkish is poised for world domination LOL! Seriously though, would love to fly them sometime and do a trip report especially with the new airport in IST. I had only flown through the old one maybe a couple of times, and those were via KLM and Aegean.
- Red
Haha they’re so busy right now!! Exceeded pre covid levels already, good on them. Thanks Red!
Sound taste good Turkish Airline meal. Do you think is a good idea flying between HK and Europe via Istanbuel ?
I think so, I know a lot of people who've done that!
I can’t wait to meet you at KLIA🥺!!!! But hope on that day I’m in the satellite building 🤣
19:01 “Ladies and gentlemen and dear children” … not sure why the children are dear. 🤣🤣🤣
Ha I noticed that! I guess it's better than saying "crotch goblins" 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂💀
💙
😄😄
The bording tickets are receipt thin! I wouldn't touch them with my bare hand nowadays.
good idea TBH, they're not good to touch anyway because of the ink and stuff
When are you going to upload Adelaide to Singapore . ?
very soon !
@@JaydenWong lovely !
Hi Jayden, did I hear it right that they served pork at TK ? 😮
haha yes, I was wrong 😂
@@JaydenWong Hahahah 🤭
I'd be really surprised if TK served pork Jayden, Turks never eat it and wouldn't like handling it. If the mince was white meat it may have been chicken or turkey but Turkish meat products including mince here in Australia are usually beef. Mutton or lamb would also be common. Edit: I see others have already explained that. Enjoyed the report, definitely on my list if I go to Europe!
Yes, because most Turks are Muslim thus they don't eat pork
I’m Turkish and ı eat pork you can found lot of pork in market, western turkey
@@melissayasar8233 Sorry to hear that. It's your business but as an Aussie who hasn't knowingly tasted pork since 1968 I hope you change your mind about that one day. It's not something I miss, Turkish sucuk is excellent with all halal meat and our family cooks mostly Malay/Indonesian style. Still I think TK as a government owned airline under a pro Islamic government would be unlikely to serve pork.
Hi, is seat slection free during check-in?
during airport check in yes
I'm fairly new to the channel are you living in Australia or Hong Kong as I thought Hong Kong had very strict quantine policies
Jayden lives in Adelaide.
@@rais1953 so he did spend a lot of time in Hong Kong?
@@JJ-vy2rh If you go back through his videos there's one where he shows you his last visit to family in Hong Kong.
I’m from Hong Kong but I have been living in Adelaide since 2014😄
@@JaydenWong I love Hong Kong I have been many times hope to go back
Omg you like dnb!! Can you stop being so perfect please, thanks ;)
P.S. aren't Alpen bars just the best! 😊
Omg yes so good. I always buy snacks from the UK back to Hong Kong or Australia 😂😂
1.00 🥰
Looks like the usb was next to your shoulder next to the other passenger
5:05 lol
Yikes a Star Alliance flight report! ;p
sorry😳
11:06 I think it's some other kind of meat, since TK doesn't serve pork (Due to religious purposes)
yep my bad haha
11:38 did you say pork? On Turkish Airlines?
yep I did, it wasn't, would've been lamb. my bad
minced pork? amazing...
Nope it wasn’t pork haha I was wrong about it
hello do they require covid test?
no not for transit with Turkish :)
土耳其航空正嗎?我未去過北歐,都想睇下。
非常唔錯呀!
Hey Jayden, great review but Turkish Airlines do not serve pork on any of their destinations. A kind suggestion would be to edit or re-voice over yourself in that part.
thanks for watching Shad, yes my bad. Unfortunately I cannot edit a video that’s been published.
I loathe self service check-in.
Thank you for the video!
no worries, thanks Daniel!
Not sure it would be pork with Turkish airline, looked good food though
yep I was wrong😳
did they require anti covid vaccination ? or a negative pcr test ?????
No :) all depends on your final destination
thank you for responding .turkey is my final destination^^
You go to the airport almost 8 hours before?? while travelling alone too?? howww, isnt it boring
I was at Oslo for transit. 8 hours between flights :)
Ok, I don't want to be a nitpicking old coot, but a couple of things.
You did NOT eat minced pork aboard Turkish Airlines. It was either beef or mutton.
You did NOT eat Greek yoğurt dip aboard Turkish Airlines. Besides being İstanbul Turkish, I also have Greek heritage and love Greece, her culture and her people. But aboard Turkish Airlines, you were served cacik and Turkish people refer to yogurt just simply as yoğurt. We do not attach a nationality to it.
I appreciate your comment actually, learnt a lot from this particular comment!! Thank you and apologies for the mistakes
2:58 Who’s that guy? 👀
a stranger
Interesting how people clap as soon as the plane lands. Having watched enough air crash investigation episodes, surely they'd clap at the point it slows down to turn in the taxiway 😂
哥哥 好靓仔
In Turkey or Turkish Airlines we don't have "Greek" yogurt. Yogurt is a Turkish word and it does not have a nationality before it. I culturally feel attacked lol
Sorry 😖
Hi Jayden. You had a much better food and dessert than our lousy Business Class meals from SFO to IST and back last Sept-Oct.2022. Both Salmon were so dry that I did not even ate half of it. Breakfast were bad and not edible at all. The flight steward assigned to us was always smiling but his service is so indifferent. A female crew dressed as a chef just took our meal order without saying a word and I did not see her anymore. We were not even offered some midflight snacks. Will not even give a small bottled water. But he gave a very few passengers. We got so dehydrated when we arrived in SFO. Very expensive fare for a lousy flight.
But I was impressed with their new airport and the lounge. Food and employees were much better in the lounge.
It is yoğurt not greek yoghurt....
I went on them in July and the food was the worst part😂 Great video anyway
Turkish airlines food is by far the best. Turkish food is already the best in the world. I flew to japan with emirates. food was really bad. On long trips, food is more important.
Is that ummm i forgot
I thought Turkey Airline does not serve pork.
TK is good. Food looked nice.
If that was a European airline you would get terrible service and they'll charge you for luggage.
that no pork and rice. Thats beef and rice. Turkish airlines do not serve pork products.
Just wondering if no one saw that? 🤣
saw what?👀
