Puzzle Bobble looks so crisp on that screen towards the end of the video! I have an RG35xx, but this system might be The Thing that sways me towards the Evercade ecosystem, especially with all the neat neo-retro indie games getting their first and sometimes only physical releases on those cartridges.
I have both the Capcom and taito version, they are really cool love them, but unless you are a collector of physical media stay with the rg35xx, I have the plus and it's my to go handheld my super pockets are on my shelf on display :P
At one point you had an Evercade cart in there and it still had the onboard games available, so...is that just a dummy cartridge that it comes with? I'm asking because I got the EXP and it's got the Capcom games onboard, it'd be dope if the Super Pocket cart had the Taito games on it so I could pop it in my EXP. It's still cool if that's not the case, but it seems weird to include a full-size dummy cartridge.
Yeah, it's a dummy cart I'm afraid. I think the logic is with the OG Evercade, you just had big blank spot on the back. So the the dummy is to make it look a little nicer (and not get things stuck in the cart slot when you're not using it).
Recommended: Xenocrisis/Tanglewood, Duke Nukem collection 1, IREM, Jaleco 1 and Gaelco 1. I'd recommend Alwa's Awakening/Cathedral, but sadly Cathedral doesn't work on the Super Pocket

5:08 8 and 16 bit? whats about duke nukem 3d games and 40 winks and the other 32 bit games? by the way why are the preinstalled 1-2 palyer games on this singleplayer only device? this multiplayer games should be on the evercadevs maybe a taito version/capcom version or better some capcom/taito cartridges for playing on all evercade devices. preinstalled 1 player only games will fit better, i absuletely dont like to see don doki don and bubble booble and especially streetfighter 2 on this singleplayer device without the ability to play in multipalyer....streetfighter 2 without multipalyer.....
You mentioned the Miyoo Mini, but not the Trimui Smart: it deserves to be contrasted to the Evercade handhelds -and I do indeed own both.
I did contemplate mentioning it but I think the original Trim UI Smart has been outpaced by the excellent Trim UI Smart Pro now.

It plays 32 bit games also. PlayStation games via the Evercade carts.

Picked up the Capcom edition now I'm looking for a cart to expand the system
My mainstays are the Worms and Interplay Collection 1 carts. I never tire of Worms and Earthworm Jim, haha.
