- Asmongold plays for the first time ever AMONG US, Among Us is a multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal for 5-10 players. Crewmates attempt to prepare their ship for launch by completing task minigames. But one or more players play as Impostors intent on killing the Crewmates and sabotaging the ship. Will the metaphorical god be able to compete with the gaming warlord himself xQc? Gameplay drama awaits...

I think it might help if in meetings Asmon spent less time trying to decypher his chat's emotes like some kind of ancient egyptian hierolglyphs and more time trying to understand the english his teammates are speaking
Well it’s hard because the people he’s playing with are way too experienced for him and they know every room in every map as well as in game terms he doesn’t know

Phantom Dancer if you’ve seen dozens of hours(literally) of gameplay on this game like I have it’s not as simple as “know basic English” because he doesn’t know what to look/ask for in game on either impostor or innocent side those players he’s playing with have +100s of hours of in game time played, their blatantly WAY too good/experienced for his level even if he used “basic English” (this is the point I’m trying to establish while you think the skill gap is “basic English” somehow)

But no one explained to him how the game actually works! They didn't tell him how sabotage works, when it's better to sabotage something, how vents work, they didn't mentioned cameras and that screwed him in the first game, they didn't tell him about double kill, to fake tasks when he's the impostor. They didn't tell him anything man, they just assumed he would magically understand the game after his first try...

@@yzwme586 Asmongold is only extrovert when he is with people that he is very comfortable with and he knows the topic very well in the conversation. But this is very new to him, so it is pretty understandable he is going to have an anxiety attack.
Watching streamers that main 1 game trying out other things is the strangest experience, they have no idea what's going on, like certain mechanics are alien to them and that other games can actually play out different from their main game, it's funny to watch

speaking is not the point of the game. Winning as a crew member or impostor is the point of the game. You can choose to talk or not to talk.
@TheDeathflows That makes absolutely no sense. There is no rule that if you dont speak you will lose the game. People might be suspicious of you, but if you dont speak most of the time when youre a crew member either then it makes them think twice. You can use this as a strategy, and some people have.
Now, they might kick you out of they think thats annoying, but thats about it.

A person who doesnt speak is more likely to be a crew member than an impostor, so if they dont speak every round and vote them out every round then they increase the chances of them losing every single time. If you dont speak and there is no way for them to kick you then they most likely ignore you and worst case, if they feel you are suspicious then they are more likely to vote you out, but that doesnt mean they will always do that. Speaking is not the point of the game you dummies, the point of the game is not get caught, whether you do that in game or in the meetings is up to you.
Asmon could watch someone get killed, report the body. They'd be asking him where it was and he would ask chat if he should say.

So many people in the chat calling him idiot when it's his first time playing the game. I was watching the whole stream and my god it was hilarious. The way he was scared of lying in the beginning and even thought he just ran around and kill those 3 people, somehow he didn't got caught. That moxy kill was the only fail x) Fucking awsome stream, smiled and laughed through whole stream.

I haven’t played this game myself yet because it seems like it would be hard for me to figure out, I have a hard time expressing my thoughts, I have a horrible memory, and I am a terrible liar lol. Mad respect for learning on the fly, it was fun to watch. Good job! It’s realistic when you’re learning to not understand, get things wrong, be unsure, etc. The learning process usually isn’t in front of a thousand people though, of course you aren’t too tier player off the jump. People should just have fun and play video game, you know? You definitely won. I watched to the end. 10/10.

it never occurred to me but the fact that he has played mostly just wow for 15 years has made his ability to play other games weak, he seems very out of it for a lot of the session, it was adorable to watch him play though, we love you Asmon ya goofball.
I really wanted to like this video, I really did. Asmon you are funny as always. The group just did an awful job at including him, it's like he wasn't there, and it made me so sad. Even experienced players like them can do better at showing him the ropes, the group I'm in currently for this game did just that for me. They didn't help or think of him at all, and pretty much never addressed him or bothered to ask him his input. He needs a better Among Us group.

I just played this for the first time, and was super puzzled as well. But the way you're playing it, you're not even focused on the conversations going on to deduce the imposter.... and blind guessing from the get go haha.......I find that super strange. oh well....

As someone who never played this game and came into this video assuming they were going to at least show Asmon the ropes, this was frustrating to watch. They didn't tell him anything of how the game works at all, so yea no shit he's gonna be bad at it.
It seems he recently likes to try more different games, which is nice. With this one i can see the potential and hype but this isn't that enjoyable to watch FOR ME. Too much shouting and people constantly talking over each other. Seems like most people enjoy it tho.

I agree..it can sometimes be funny but I dont like when people are yelling and shouting. Idk maybe its just not my game.
I think that's the nature of a game this fast paced. Less than two minutes per round is just not enough time to make a case for multiple people, so most of the time the one or two people who managed to polarize the discussion will get the benefit of doubt or appear the most suspicious.
It'd be nice to see him play board games like this though. Not sure if there's something available in a setting he's fond of, but things like Secret Hitler (shout outs to Total Biscuit playing this a lot before he died) or Battlestar Galactica can be incredibly fun to watch with the right players. Rounds there can potentially be longer than an hour though, so it's not as readily accessible as sperg friendly stream content.
People like asmond is the dangerous one for this game, doesnt talk much but when they talk its so 50 50

He wasn’t even playing the game, missed opportunity would’ve really enjoyed it if he at least tried
some tips that I don't know if they explained it to As, but what's really good to do is go on freeplay on the maps and memorize the tasks and how long it averagely takes to do the task. That way if you are imposter, you can fake doing tasks to avoid suspicion. Common tasks (wires, uploads) can be used to find out new imposters using a method called "fake keying". Either everyone has the same common tasks or nobody has it. "Fake keying" is when someone tries to lure someone they suspect into faking a common task when there is no common tasks, selling you out.
I don’t like how it seems like they were being condescending towards asmon, maybe it’s just me. But shit was just annoying
