External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar spoke on the India-China reaching agreement on border patrolling along LAC on October 21. EAM Dr S Jaishankar said, "What Foreign Secretary has said is what I can also say, that we reached an agreement on patrolling and with that we have gone back to where the situation was in 2020. We can say that the disengagement process with China has been completed."

China has a very clear stance, which India must realise and accept if they want to come out of isolation in the region, and that is to hand over Eastern Ladakh, Galwan, and Hamachal to China.
