- Beyblade X has been popping off since its launch and copycats are abundant online now. What's it like in the world of bootleg Beys nowadays? That's what we're here to find out in this video! We've had our fair share of misrepresented products where we think we're buying a real Beyblade and then get the most insulting, disgusting knock-off of a Beyblade 😂. I'm sure many of you have experienced this before as well, but others use fakes and mid fakes exclusively since they don't have access to authentic products.

No lie it was pretty fun unboxing these laughable knock-offs 😂 We know that some people only have access to bootleg Beys like this so we understand your struggle...but a lot of these products are straight TRASH lmaoooooo 🚮 What are your thoughts on these newer fake X Beys?

as a kid who was raised in a third world country, I can see why u guys are pretty surprised by the bad quality. But in my memories, it isn't even half bad. We couldn't get access to the real 'cause it was just too expensive (up to 100x more expensive), and it was soooo nostalgic to see again those fake beys. Like compare to the authentic one, maybe it's bad, but compare to nothing then it's so good. I do not encourage buying fakes over the real ones, just wanna say that it's maybe not a crappy piece of lead poisoning junk one might see it as.
note: i meant 10x times, but even with the fakes we needed several days or even weeks of breakfast money to buy it😂
Same and if you compare the ones I had to a real one they would be like 100 times worse and they were more expensive than if I was in Japan and bought the real ones

It felt kinda satisfying to see someone unboxing fakes. Its been awhile since I've seen that.
If takara tomy products were a bit more cheaper especially in today's economic condition, people would have totally ignore fake products. Back in middle school when MFB season 1 was just aired, we can find lot of 5-7$ beyblade in a small pack without launcher like rock leon, burn phoenix, flame saggitario, etc. Even lightning L-Drago can be obtained for like around 13-15$. Good times really. Went to Mall with Mom and asked her to buy the cheapest beys in store but still Takara Tomy Original. Now at least in my area, Takara Tomy Beyblade X is just another toy that stood the same in the shelf for a long time. The price is just too much. But when you see the fakes in local online store, thousands were sold for like 1-2$. Ironic but it is what it is 😢

the good 'ol days right? when Beys cost around the same as a cheeseburger LOL. prices have definitely gone up but Hasbro Beyblade X can still be found for around $8- $10 USD depending on the product. USA definitely seems to have the best pricing while Canada, Australia and anywhere else have our prices inflated more than just the currency conversion

If you look at Beyhunting videos from 2010s, Hasbro Starter Packs were $10USD. Beyblade X Starter Packs are also $10USD. Despite inflation, the price of the core product remains the exact same. Hasbro Metal Fight also didn't have Booster Packs.
If you're importing Beys from Japan - of course they will be expensive due to shipping and paying for the local store's profit. It's always been like this.
@@BeybladeGeeks That's actually the problem because i am from that anywhere else 🤣. Like every beys is imported TT product and the Hasbro one rarely spotted in store. Even when you find one they put the price somehow higher than the TT one.
@@KIO_moe From my experience, in my country season 1 MFB even tho they are imported, the price is still as low as i mentioned before. But yeah after season 1 the price just spiked up a lot with 4D era being the highest. Now is even worse with inflation going on. The high tax for imported products also just add more salt in the wound.
Also thanks for the trivia. I guess the US is really fortunate to have them selfproduced by Hasbro so there is no additional fee for import and tax or any extra things.

You know what kind of fakes I love? The ones that don't take the actual molds of the real product 100%. There exist fakes that are RETOOLED, or remolded I guess, in weird/esoteric ways. They are fascinating. I have a knockoff Infinity Nado top that has had its original mold altered so that the bottom piece is actually just a Beyblade Burst driver. And it fits real Burst drivers. It's so cool.

One thing to note though, there are bait and switch product pages. So, you can sell complete different product and get like 1000 reviews for 4/5 stars and then switch it to this fake stuff and it will show up as this product has these reviews (though reading the reviews kinda of reveals this, but most people just look at the top anyway). Not sure if this has been fixed (probably not, I have 0 faith in Amazon).

Do you guys remember the fake version of Cobalt Drake ? It was the first fake Beyblade X that sold the most, all because the original Cobalt Drake was super rare. To get the real one, you had to win it through the Beyblade X app. But when the fake version came out, even Takara Tomy buyers picked it up!
Reality check: If something is rare and can’t be bought, why not get the fake one instead ;)

I have a fake cobalt drake (SB), it performs pretty well for being 6 grams lighter than the original! It has phillips head screws instead of rivets so you can customize it! It’s an okay pickup, but the clear version costs $40 so it’s better (now) to get the clear version
When I was a kid my parents was not a fan of buying me original toys because we were a budget conscious family and we didn't have a lot of money, I got bootleg Hotwheels, Chinese remote control cars and a bunch of other stuff. But fake Metal Era Beyblades were a very different breed of fake, they were identical to the original but cheap.
I had only one original Beyblade which was the Dark Wolf and my mom bought me a bunch of fake Beys but comparing them to mine and my friends I was surprised to how well mine were made. My Mom and I would play Beyblades mixing and matching different combinations until we can beat each other, it was so much I didn't realize I was going older and we slowly stopped playing and transitioned to helping each other in Candy Crush hahaha. So fake beys hold a special place in my heart because of my Mom.

The issue with fakes is that there are multiple brands of fakes and only 1-2 are actually good. BeybladeGeeks are exaggerating with their reactions. The fake LR burst launcher for example is excellent. I've tested it vs the real one and their launch power is the same and have no issues. Fake sword launcher also has good power and had no issues with it. I've also had some fake beyblade burst that look and perform the same as the originals. You just have to know which brands have the good copies. Fake Beyblade X are actually worse than fake Beyblade Burst because the fake X beys have the wrong rachets, but I've found a lot of Burst ones with the proper parts. The biggest issue with the fake X beys is that most fake brands have lead in their metal, but if you are looking for a rare Bit, like Orb, you can get for example a fake Viper Tail and just grab the Orb from it. It's exactly the same as the real one. I wouldn't suggest using the blade though. The Bit is fine and even the Rachet if playing with friends.
Finally some one talking about the exaggeration. dude was grossed out while dransword was using the xtreme liine perfectly, tbh all beys looked good except helm knight gold. The launchers and grips and beyloggers were really good but they still found it gross.
@@EarthVirgoUser Yeah, I am not encouraging people to buy fake products, but they didn't even bother giving them a fair review. The fake grip also works with the original launchers without an issue at a fraction of the OG's price. Instead of getting grossed out by fake products, how about we get grossed out that a company is charging 15+ dollars for a plastic grip. I also noticed that they never tried testing the LR launcher and when they launched beyblades with the fake launchers, they were not using their full strength to purposely show the fake launchers as weaker. I understand that they are sponsored by Takara Tomy, but this video was made with the intention of making all fake products look bad, when there are a lot of good ones.
@@ParadoX-os i too use fake grips and launchers, just dont like my beys to be fake even if thet are lead free. And I won't even think of buying a lead product. But some people just can't afford real ones. Fakes are cheap and is the only thing some people can afford. But bbgs just started shitting on them for no reason. Bbx fakes are actually pretty good so far.
@@EarthVirgoUser I have original grips and launchers and fakes as well. Objectively speaking, their performance is the same. Now for the beyblades, like I said, people can grab the fakes if they don't have the money for original ones or they can grab them just for their Rachet and Bit, which don't have lead. Not all fake products are bad. BBGs definitely had an agenda with this video because they are sponsored by Takara. It just came across as cringy when they were grossed out by every single product, even by those that were good. The gold beys and fake stadiums were horrible for sure. The rest were fine.

Bro, when your miserable brazilian existance taxes a kidney and more to import TT stuff or when the Hasbro stuff is so over-taxed beyond the 1USD to 5BRL conversion, these are in the end the best options we have. Even the "awful don't buy" plastic arena from Hasbro. Like, the starter hasbro stadium set is 700BRL, which is crazy shit when the average minimun sallary is around 1500$
I am not denying there are risks and issues with bootleg beys, sure, I try to buy only the original stuff because it is better. But you bet most people and average adults interested in the hobby don't have this luxury. Besides, how else are we supposed to get Cobalt Drake and soon(?) Aero Pegasus? These limited ass beys are crazy expensive and now that CD is not being produced/able to get anymore, the prices of official stuff will skyrocket.
It's an awful reality for anyone interested in a cool hobby toy.
Cobalt Drake and Aero Pegasus will probably release on Hasbro somewhere down the line, at least here in Chile, Beyblade X is not THAT expensive when you're talking about starter beys or boosters (sets are very expensive and I'd say Soar Phoenix is overpriced).
From what I've seen fakes this gen are pretty trash, flame being the brand that's kind of okay, for personal use they're alright, but if you want to battle them against original beys they're most likely to lose from their diference in weight.
All that said, I bought a fake flame stadium and some launchers since the fake stadium was like half the price of the Takara Tomy one and getting the good Hasbro stadium is locked behind a really high paywall.

There is no lead on fake beys, thats missinformation, the metal is made out of alluminum. Those fake tests you see are false pozitives because those kits are ment for lead paint not lead metal

All toys in the US are allowed to have a certain amount of lead. It's a negligible amount but will still show up on lead swab tests.

The ratchets are the worst . Fake bey aside the only fake parts that are semi good are the bits . If you cant afford to buy every set to get all the bits in every colour . I can see why people would buy it for their kids because it's just a spinning top to them and the kid is having fun and it's cheap . But once you've experienced the genuine products.you can feel that difference in a second and the quality is just so much better. Hasbro and TT toys are always going to be the best.

The fake beyblades here in Brazil are in average 10 bucks w/ a launcher. The real ones are 54 bucks (bey + launcher). It may not sound so bad for you, but minimum wage here is $1.07/h...

I was kinda disappointed when I found out that the Cobalt Drake I got from eBay was a fake made out of lead. The real Cobalt is impossible to get unless Hasbro releases them for cheaper somehow. Same for Pegasus and many other Rare Beys.

The first one with the storage box is cool tho, and the launcher works fine too, you guys are just way too harsh. As for why people are buying fakes? Economic reasons, obviously. I admit, I am one of those buyers. But when real ones cost multiple times more than fake ones, (even the grips), fakes are better than nothing.
A fact is not everyone lives in a high income first world country to be able to afford original toys like these at their prices.
Bootleg Blade will give you real winder launchers but Hasbro won't smh.

While we had access to real beys here, no one's (or at least just a few that can afford) really buying them due to being so overpriced. So at least to cope with the struggle, i had to stick to buying fake beys most of the time, at the same time i still support the real deal as i still have real ones
