The Blyth's paradise flycatcher, a vibrant bird with a rufous body and a black head, can be found flitting through the evergreen forests and forest edges of Cambodia. These birds are comfortable in both lowland and foothill areas, adapting to secondary growth, gardens, and even plantations. Males, during breeding season, sport incredibly long streamers that nearly double their body length, making them quite the sight. While sightings are possible throughout Cambodia, birders may have better luck in protected areas where the natural habitat is well-preserved.
