- So we are back with some more Conqueror's Blade as this time we get stuck into the Tercio a musket unit that along with the other musket units recently got a buff to accuracy and damage at mid to long ranges. Since I haven't really played with the tercio for quite a while I thought it would be fun to drag them out and give them some testing :D

Typically just as I finish the video they announce a tercio rework XD will be back with them again in a few weeks to check out the rework!

Oh lmao I was so suprised how quickly you must have put together this video. But now we can have a very accurate before and after, which is nice.

The new 2 ability is nice, but every time I have used it so far, I have thought I would much rather it be a grenade throw.......
@@Debbiebabe69 There's definitely a lot of utility in the grenade throw but it's nice to have a nice burst on the Tercios, I'm personally hoping they fixed the melee AI for the aftercharge.
I'm excited about the buff. Especially their melee capabilities, which can make them a very versatile unit.
muskets in melee doesn't sound good
With the reworked Tercio and their new abilities, I guess you will have to revisit them after like 2 weeks or so

its weird, it's not a charge exactly, but kind of a little advance and double strike or something like that. It's decent, far from op it seems like so far. The real buff is the increased rate of fire skill

That and the heavy graphics lag were the reasons I stopped.
I left a comment on another one of your vids recently mentioning musket units needing a buff. Looks like I was right and they listened. haha
You should review the Imperial Spearman and the stompy horsemen, I personally only find the IS more tanky but haven't done much with them yet

You should go back and re-try the normal firelancers and or the liaos rangers, they have an interesting new mechanic with a x-v-charge combo for 3 free hits + 2 gun blasts
Not fully buffed yet, they will get barrage skill soon

I Like Tercio
Can you try out kriegsrats? They are the second most tanky unit and with honour tree and the right doctrine they become machineguns. Their accuracy and range makes them be able to snipe a hero at 50m

Nice video! I have a choice to make, which unit would you recommend getting, the Tercio's or the Shenji's? You said they're both good so now I don't know which to go with 😄
Imperial Spear Gaurd cover commander will be new meta. Makes the unit a cap claiming tank!
Well i guess we'll see them again next week or so with the rework announced on Frontier!
Pros for the rework seem to be that they will excel in short range damage output.
Con seems to be that they double down on the use of melee for the Tercios
what about the krieg who tier "4.5" ? they got nerfed accuracy so many time before, do they hit now? because the fire rate of them was inside

Also the real test of the Guns buff, if the SeaDogs have any noticeable improvement or are they still the worst ranged unit in the game lol
You mean the sea stag deathdealers that can deal no death?
@@Debbiebabe69 Probably lol the blue guns that give the xp buff, for some reason I have SeaDogs stuck in my head, I know it's Sea something.

I hesitate to get back into the game, i kinda miss it but i don't wanna get sucked in TW stuff anymore, is the game fun/worth playing without TW and guild mechanics ? (Have cohorts finally being reworked or not yet ?)

didnt they nerf guns overall b4 shenji's became available? Now its all getting buffed again. Wow, I can finally use my fully noded Imperial Arquebusiers again.

They got a unit specific buff today with two new abilities "Fusillade" which let them fire 3 shots like a semi-auto but force them into melee mode after usage to cool down their muskets gun and "Dashing Blades" where they swarm the nearest enmy with their swords (almost like the Azaps On Watch)
Bad timing seems to be my special skill XD
Tercio fusilade + nearby jocks giving attack buff ;)
Talking about the jocks, we never got the situation loads of people were predicting, where half the players would have jocks out in the match so you would be struggling for actual combat units....
@@Debbiebabe69 I never understood that fear, who genuinely wants to take a nome combat unit into combat?
@@JammanTV Was when the unit was first hinted at, if there were loads of quests for the claymores with tasks like 'take S10 units into x sieges and win', it would mean at the start when everyone was rushing for them, there would be half teams made up of bagpipers (if you are going for claymores, then obviously the ONLY S10 units you could possess would be the pipers)...
So Tercios do a double shot then charge forward and get slaughtered with their swords. Hmmmn. Not great lol
1:05 you see how OP sh*t that pike just pulled out. A poleaxe is continously hitting a knockdown move and pike is like "oh i don't care if it's ult or anything , i'll just use my 5 sec cooldown Ultimate escape skill to just run away " . Fk this sh*t. This is why i quit this game . Have some respect for someone's ult ya know. If it was ult vs ult and pike won , that could've been understandable but that is just BS .
At 4:01 , poleaxe directly bangs his back with big FKIN AXE and pike is like "i don't care, it doesn't pain , it didn't even touch me " and easily jumps back away. But considering it wasn't poleaxe's ult i could've lived with that But escaping ults ,FKIN BS.

i think shenji is more functional than tercio
Definitely more utility with the grenades and long range potential with the accuracy but it's nice Tercios got a DPS buff and the double down on the melee is interesting. Hopefully they'l fix the melee AI and it might actually be really useful on occasion.
Omg it's getting worse and worse. The balance team really has no idea what they're doing, from one meta to the next. The balance team should play the game first before making any changes.
