Don't get me wrong this is good news cos he's a very talented lad and he'll only get better with age however I hope this isn't a sign of these doing there best to keep the core of the current squad and hardly do anything to improve cos that's a waste of time, yes I want some of these players to stay but we've got to add to the squad as well, I think these need to start getting a move on cos even though it's early in the window a lot of teams are already making moves, look at Sheffield Wednesday they've already signed 4 or 5, but there again this lot will take forever like they usually do and in the end they'll just end up with more cheap youngsters, I hope I'm wrong but I'm getting a bit worried when the backroom staff news has gone quiet and it's all quiet on the transfer front, I want players in for pre season, not on deadline day and they need time to settle, get them in now and they'll have time to adjust
