On Riis, if you watch BenHD (youtuber) he's a PNE fan and doesn't rate Riis at all. He's in and out of the team, so if not good enough for Preston....?? Riis didn't start yesterday but came off the bench to score. Is it a sign they want to sell now while they can get money? Or, is he not as good as some of us think? I would rather go for the Croatian guy personally. And I think RLB made bad team choice - for once - yesterday as expected a much more attacking option. Said this on a few other channels now. Must be such a catch 22 watching your boys. Ive watched so much prem and championship this season. The championship is one of the strangest ive seen in years with a run away top 4 and everyone else seems rubbish at times. Southampton have a good approach to games yet have 6 points i think it is cause the quality gap from prem to champo is as big as its ever been. For you guys results like this must be utterly infuriating, but i wonder whats worse of a prospect. Playing really good 80% of the time and being a top team in your current league. Or risk going up where - if you have this kind of result in your locker against bottom of champo, are you just going to go up and be another southampton or leicester. A bigger club than both of those undoubtedly but in terms of on pitch quality if board wont buy you reinforcements for the championship the thought of the prem must be such a double edge sword. Youre the most unbiased and well rounded judge of your team that ive seen so always love to come here and get your take on things, but I dont envy the position you guys are in right now. I dont know whats even the best for the club. Go up and get pasted constantly, or stay a top 4 team here to enjoy a lot of good football but lose the likes of Jobe and Rigg to follow from someone like Jack Clarke. His goal record at Preston isn't great, I think he had 1 or 2 good seasons and that's it but he has got the experience at this level and maybe he would thrive at a bigger club and having better players around him, not my first choice but I'd take this lad over Frigan who hasn't got experience at this level any day, it wouldn't be ambitious like Akpom but it would be safe and sensible
