The Abyssal Lantern only works within GOTR. The only thing it does outside of GOTR is act as a lightsource. Its not just Falador shield 4 that locates the Mole, Shield 3 also does this.
Great video. Just wanted to include an extra bonus for the tomes. The tome of fire can also be used for infinite fire runes for ibans blast, even though it counts as a combat spell. The tome of water is similar as it has the same effect for ice spells in the ancient spellbook. So you could use it for infonote water spells when casting ice barrage.
My dude… I’ve seen mannnny of your shorts, and I just wanted to stop by, say hi, tell you to keep doing what you’re doing and that I appreciate you! You seem like a kind, down to earth, approachable dude and I would be honoured to run a raid with you sometime 🫡 I got TOA down to like 350s/400s, but I’ve neeeever done a COX or TOB, so you let me know man! Peace 🫶🏼
thanks for the video bud, going to be following you now just came back to osrs since 4 year break, been playing about 20 years of my life ~ quest milfs
I made an ironman after Trailblazer 2 since I got real bored of the olmlet grind, and I gotta say your videos are actually pretty randomly helpful dude. I think you should consider more actual videos vs the shorts, I am here because of your youtube shorts but the vids are nice too. The biggest thing people need to realize is that every raid is slightly different in some format: 1: Chambers of Xeric: This is a raid with HIGH variability, and is NOT fixed (isn't a static raid, who's layout does not change), the rooms can and likely will be different every raid scout, and you can increase the rooms for a double rope mass big raid or just go for a CM. This raid has basically infinite supplies if your willing to spend the time to make them, which you shouldn't need to. The most important part of this raid is having appropriate gear to do appropriate damage to certain NPC's on their weakness type, BUT there is an addendum, any solo player requires a powered stave, this is for olm head skipping and if you don't use a powered stave, even a warped scepter, you will absolutely fudge up the skip on olm's head eating unnecessary damage alongside wasting precious stamina. 2: Tombs of Amascut: This raid has medium variability, but it is MOSTLY fixed (is slightly less static due to invocations), but nothing actually changes except small extra mechanics, zebak is still there, etc. This raid is the perfect raid because it allows you to understand a "fixed" raid, which will be best explained with ToB. ToA specifically gets one prepared for other content in the game, it allows them to specifically understand that some content is "fixed", 1k kc later and the fight is going to be the exact, same, thing. 3: ToB: This raid has no variability, and is ENTIRELY FIXED. This means nothing changes except the way YOU PERFORM IN THE THEATRE. Even Hard mode adds extra mechanics, but there is basically no variability to them, they are simply added, and there are methods and mechanics to deal with them. This is the raid most people have a hard time getting a grasp of because there is little in the raid that changes, every mistake, every blunder, is you, is the performer on stage within the theatre. CoX is the oldest and comfiest raid due to the fact that I can make myself 100 xeric aid's if I want alongside the new changes (mmm stamina pools and portals at mystics just speeding sh*t up), ToA is the best created raid that allows players to learn how to perform fixed activities that are totally based on their performance, alongside the ability to add a small amount of variability with invocations to the raid. ToB is a very easy raid that you need to perform a very specific way, and mistakes are on the player and in certain circumstances can really fudge a team, we've all seen THE Sotetseg video. Have a good day. IGN: Atomic Stew
I'd like to add, CoX even has different room layouts, there's like 3 different room layouts for every single room, that's a lot of variability vs TOB where even Hard mode just adds mechanics you need to deal with during the scripted fight. This is just my opinion, but I think its something people should really consider. A great example is if you look at my boss kc's, you can see that most bosses that I did were bosses with variability, or bosses I abused the f*ck out of a tbow on lol, phosani being the boss I want to talk about now. Phosani is a boss I despise. I like the nightmare, but phosani is actually probably one of the worst bosses in the game for me, because I have just finished a zuk pet grind, and the logic in the Inferno is that "when you see an npc's projectile, you can swap prayers" which made inferno a breeze for me, but NPC's that have a few seconds to pray AFTER an attack? I am actually very stunted on this behaviour and it trips me up everytime. Phosani is a Fixed fight, NOTHING changes, except her horrible random rotation of attacks like the parasite, etc, but Inferno waves can be different every single wave, and once you learn how to abuse flicking/how npc projectile visual queue's can be used, its actually super easy to do. Tl;DR: I have a hard time with fixed content in OSRS vs non-fixed content, I can do ToB but I can't run it like I can CoX or ToA. I am in a clan and my ironman had his tablet after his 3rd cm... at lvl like 18, also gave me early magic logs, super lucky.
I love how 90% of them are not a "shield" but go in the shield spot... where at then end he includes a "shield" that is actually not in the shield spot at all lol
I feel extremely dumb not knowing that the book of the dead can teleport you. I’ve been using thralls for months and always thought it sucked having to bring tele tabs with it. I remember when finishing a kingdom divided, thinking that my memoirs book just disappeared. Really glad to know this now tho 😂
What’s better than a d defender? What’s better than an obby vape but not fire cape? What’s better than regen bracelet but not barrows gloves? What’s better than full obby or any of the barrows set? And what’s better than dragon boots??? I’m sorry for the stupid questions.
If we're talking offense and strength bonus, the answers are: avernic defender, nothing, combat bracelet or the best RFD gloves you can get, Bandos armor or fighter torso, primordial boots or Bandos boots. For cape and gloves just focus on finishing RFD and learning fight caves. For armor and shield slot it depends on whether you want more defense or strength bonus. Or prayer bonus - god cape, proselyte armor, god book, etc.
I’d have to disagree with you on the crystal shield. Why would you not recharge it for 150k? Only pro with shards is that you can add 200 and go up to 20k charges I guess. I’m Ironman, so I used all mine on crystal armor for my bowfa I finally am making tomorrow with 82 crafting/smith to make cheaper and unlocking brews the other day after getting it last year. But even if you’re not an Ironman…still not worth it. After a few recharges, then 2500 charges is 150k. For the same 2500 charges you need 25 shards. 1 shard = 10 dust. 4 dust = 1 divine super combat pot. So you can turn 2.5 super combat pots to divine super combat pots per shard. Which is like 7k per pot. 7kx2.5 is over 17k. Rounding down to 17kx25 is still 425k and that’s rounding down. I love your shorts and you’re a great guy helping new people. Idk how to do raids and I got like arthritis and stuff and I absolutely can’t do high level PVM like sins of the father was hard enough. Just can’t keep up with high level gear/prayer swapping on all the menus no matter the practice. Maybe I look at the wiki and read everything too much because I’m Ironman, but a lot of this was fairly wrong or just super inefficient.
You gave misinformation on the dihns at the end of the video. The spec is only good vs general graardor when you stack minions. The crystal halberd is the go to(BIS) vs stacked enemies.
For the Abyssal Lantern, I don't believe ANY of the effects work outside of Guardians of the Rift. Your B-roll footage showed the player running to the true blood altar, which would not benefit from any of the Abyssal Lantern effects
Bro ngl but its kinda sad you got the abyssal lantern totally wrong and thought it worked outside of GoTR. Its one thing to just get that wrong as a regular player in game you know whatever it happens. But you made a whole video guide and clearly didnt spend the 5 mins to fact check yourself. Do better if youre going to be putting out guides for noobs double check what you're saying. Cause the wiki page for the lantern makes it abundantly clear it literally says only works in the minigame about 6 or 7 times in the very short article about it. Check your work before posting

This guys a moron
Shields have no use in osrs your welcome
they will soon@@excellegaming5910
On my zerker I use addy kites painted for rag gear and the defensive bonus actually helps alot
Great video. Just wanted to include an extra bonus for the tomes. The tome of fire can also be used for infinite fire runes for ibans blast, even though it counts as a combat spell. Bro I just posted a comment asking about ice I appreciate you mentioning this!!
Because water runes are so expensive
these videos are always nice to watch man
Thanks so much. This one took me several days
First video of yours ive seen. Excellent video for any newer or newish plays, good job bro.
Glad you enjoyed! I'll get better each video
Wish the bulwark's hits only scaled with def level/bonus in pvp.. that would make for an interesting build.

tome of fire with bryo staff for the cheapest high alch in game, works for tan leather as well
No wooden shield (g) ? I see how you feel bro
the abyssal lantern effects only work in gotr
I love how 90% of them are not a "shield" but go in the shield spot... where at then end he includes a "shield" that is actually not in the shield spot at all lol
Its a fantasy MMO what more can I say 😅😅
I like it! Bros hitting all the bases
Interesting concept to explore!
Chemistry im trying to join your discord chat but im not seeing your name is there a limit to how much discords you could join at a time?
Whats the plugin you used to display your output damage on the XP drop?
I didn't know Tome of Water effected Vulnerability. I use that spell all the time at callisto.
yo i miss ur vids

Sitting beside someone that looks exactly like this dude
Chymistry Doppelganger?!?
could you maybe make a vid where you go over what gear to get with 100m for the raids?
Crystal shield is low key op
If you use a ice spell does water book work with that?
Yes

Oops just checked. You're right
Theres literally no useful shields tho dragon def scape
Bro you keep adding an ‘ed’ to the word equip when it makes no sense. You say ‘equipped’ to show past tense. Any other time you just say ‘equip’.
