I just came here to say that I have been following you for a while now but you have gone from appreciating every small thing to constantly complaining about everything!The worst thing is it's even rubbing off on Saransh now! I can relate to most things you said about Air India as I also travelled from Delhi to Vancouver last year but you can't complain so much! The food served on Air India is sourced from 5 star hotels (mostly Taj) and it's not at all bad! I mean it looks like the whole point of you making this video is you trying to get a refund from Air India. It's become a task to watch your videos. The last 3 videos you have uploaded are only about cribbing about every small thing including the nail salon, late night flight, not enough options at duty free and list goes on. There is a reason why your subscribers are not growing constantly. Just an advice from an old subscriber!

Why so much of cribbing guys ? Everybody knows Air India is in a bad shape for now and its not new to anyone. You guys decided to fly with it, right. You could have booked Emirates or Air Canada for that matter. No airlines is perfect I traveled with Etihad sometime back and faced similar things. Seats not reclining, Screen not working, inspite of selecting Hindu Veg meal they gave us something very different which was just veg not Hindu or anything else, seats were too uncomfortable, etc. Its all part of a journey.
And FYI Air India is now with Tata's not with GOI. So they are working to revamp the entire airlines matching with international standards, just a matter of time and patience. But just an advice don't glorify the shortcomings of Indian Airlines, I'm sure many Non Indians must be watching your vlog and it sends a wrong message.
Ya'll paid $3000 for booking in haste.. which is still very cheap for 2 individuals(if it is a round trip) NOT for convenience.

October 2021 - October 2022 = 1 year October to January = 4 months so you don’t say 1 year and 4 months - you end up saying almost 1 n half year. I have been a regular subscriber to this channel. I used to desperately waiting for her vlogs as it used to be a good content and positive vibes. Yes She has started continuously complaining about everything and even saransh too. What do you expect from economic class actually people expect business class services from economy class. guys stop complaining for everything. I was so disappointed to see her previous vlog defaming a business. come on make some good content for viewers. pooja you are loosing quality of your videos. I have always admired your videos.

$1500 is bloody cheap for a round trip on AI. I would totally disregard the In-flight entertainment and the general overall condition. I’ve always had a pleasant experience in terms of service and quality of food, which btw is way better than the local Canadian carriers.
The funny thing is Air India was in a terrible state when Tata’s acquired it and it takes a considerable time for such makeovers. So at this time we get what we pay for. We all thought the transition would be quick but that won’t be the case in a practical scenario.
It will take YRS girl, already boeing and airbus have backlogs of orders, TATA will give both 250 orders or something like but surely will give both some orders, it would have been better if they bought some planes and then asked boeing and airbus for PRODUCTION IN INDIA as It's the biggest order in aviation industry, tata has the upper edge in it

it's not just Air India, it's with any and every airline and its very random, I flew Melbourne to Mumbai round trip on Singapore Airlines and on both the occasions my entertainment screen was faulty, the tray table was jammed, so if it an happen with Singapore Airlines, surely can with Air India, and it does not have anything to do with the cost of the ticket. The cost totally depends on when you book it. Hope you have a please flight next time :)

I disagree, its not with every airline. I have flown Qatar airways, Emirates and Etihad regulary and I have never come across a single issue in any class. Pristine every single time for years.
These same people will say we are proud of Air india when it will be relaunched with it's new branding aesthetic livery, interior(With help of Landrover and jaguar), services and food (with help of Taj). With a brand new fleet of 400+ in order to compete with Emirates, Qatar, Etihad, Singapore, ANA, Lufthansa etc

It’s around 1800 GBP for 2 for direct flight that’s dirt cheap, if it’s for return journey. Air India inherited 500 old aircraft, I heard they will swap VISTARA aircraft soon which are great.
This is the same airline which was inspiration for Singapore & emirates. They are investing 400 M $ for refurbishing. Hope it will be fine in next 1 year.

The food looked great. I have had that food on Air India. It is catered better than any other airline. I have never understood the mentality of Indians. The same people who will do dadagiri on Air India as if bappa ka maal hai, will be quietly accept their subpar veggie meal on Lufthansa and feel lucky with the cold and indifferent treatment.
If you are really very much home sick please stay back here.. don't go back to Canada....your problem will be solved 🙄

Note : Air India made largest Plane order in history (190 Boeing narrowbody 737 MAX and 30 widebody 787 ).Till these planes are being delivered, old planes can't go to refurbish. So, till 2024 you have to hold ur complaints on reclainer & remotes.
Let's put this in prespective :
Air India is not known for providing a great experience. However, in this case, you chose to fly with them because it was $200 cheaper. This flight took you directly to India in just 14 hours. Had you chosen a different airline, you would have had to make at least one stop, adding an extra 5-6 hours to your total flight time. The primary objective of a flight is to ensure safety and transport passengers. The quality of the experience is a secondary consideration and can still be acceptable.
Try to focus on the positive aspects.

What a bullshit comment. Yes the primary objective is safety and transport but that doesn't mean you take them in a 3rd class railway car. Plus when your cleanliness and general upkeep is so bad, how can you trust that the maintenance of the engines and equipment will be good. No other airline has conditions this bad, they just showed the honest reality, why is it offensive. AI needs to improve.

And also in our family when we would ride with our driver, we would always one of us would sit next to driver even if we could fit in the back as a sign of respect. Its something the born rich forget meanwhile the people who are born poor tend to remember.

It's not about being poor or rich. I have seen them sit with the driver before. U should do what is best for u and let others do what suits them.
@soni l fair maybe one thing i forgot to mention is that often we would have more than 2 people plus the driver. So yeah like you i would sit with the spouse but then someone else would sit with the driver. And you can say all you like. But offering food and drink to your driver or servant is the classy thing to do. And in general the born rich don't care about those things but the people who worked hard and made the money for the family to be rich is more mindful of these things. Many rich people see the help as furniture. Meanwhile, I was taught to be respectful and greet them the same way I would the people I visit. As the saying goes "you can't buy class"

7:46 Factual Correction. Why would Mr. Modi "allocate more money to Air India" ? Air India does not run on public money. It is owned by the Tata group. So your "advice" should be directed to Mr. Ratan Tata; not Mr. Modi.
Instead of making negative videos on Air India better appreciate the current management which is trying to improve services with in-flight and up-gradations of aircraft, give them some time they will be back on par with middle east airlines, if it so hard to digest present services better avoid them than making videos on them . I find it wondering why NRI's are more interested in criticizing India's National Carrier may be due to depreciating national pride.
If something is bad, it is bad. You cannot improve something without acknowledging the fact that there is something wrong with it. Just because it is "India's National Carrier" does not mean it is not in a very bad state. $3000 for one ticket is a lot of money and it is hard to earn even if the person is an NRI. Would you spend even a $100 without getting a value for that spend? And as a viewer, I like the fact that they are not sugar coating stuff and making videos to impress the audiences. It is what it is and they are showing what they are experiencing. Period.

Size of pearson terminal is one tenth of IGI T3 and its always more crowded then traffic on Indian roads.

AirIndia is great at making you feel poor even after paying around $1500 for a ticket. The screens don’t work, can’t charge your phone/laptop, seats don’t recline. And since I’m a south Indian who can’t speak Hindi the staff were way more rude than usual.

No surprise here!! The only reason anyone travel with Air India is because of the budget. I have had the same experience.
I’m never flying Air India again as well. I had a flight from Toronto to Delhi and I had a similar experience. The food was inedible, the screen wasn’t working and the recline was not working either. This was in summer 2021, and honestly, 14 hours is a long time.
It was my worst experience flying. Sad to see things haven’t changed.
The food is uplifted from Toronto not from India so you get such awful food in Canada!!!
No one deserves this , never on a long haul flight! Hopefully the Tatas change the state of play at Air India.

Actually air India airlines won't spend the money to maintain the Plane (replace the broken items and cleaning etc) as others do. Food wise I didn't have any issue, one thing need to improve is to maintain the plane.

I always had the best experience in Air India. I would say the price is much cheaper than competition. In British Airways as well we had these reclining seat issues. and inedible food. so not roses in other flights for higher cost

Guys she is not exaggerating, ask many people who have flown air india, especially from Vancouver. Maybe the plane they send here is not the best . . 70% of the screens in economy don’t work. Many of you all praising air india here must have flown in their more popular sector such as delhi-london where they send best aircrafts of their fleet.

In this december, i paid 1.7 lac for a continuous flight from delhi to toronto…. I was travelling first time alone so my parents wanted me to travel by a direct flight itself… i felt so bad with whole experience, the thing is not complain or something the thing is, it was not worth are money i felt sad as. you all know every body wants a good experience.😅😅😅😅😅

This is the reason I avoided booking with air India. Tata's tenure is still new so can't expect every plane to be refurbished and on long duration flights if you are paying a premium on the ticket your journey should be as comfortable as possible.

I would avoid Air india at any cost if possible. We took qatar from LA to Delhi last month and it was the best experience ever, and the best food I've ever had in the flight. It was worth of every penny.

I totally agree with your review about the state of Air India. However, it will take time to change. The domestic sector has shown improvement, and within a few years, it should be much better overall. Rome wasn't built in a day. I am glad you put a disclaimer about this being your experience.
I don't want to support your review, however because of the fact that you chose it because it was the cheapest or the fastest maybe. If that's a choice you make, you got to be aware that there will be some level of cost cutting. There are better airlines with newer flights, better and working amenities, maybe better food and staff. But you can't get everything.
There is a price for everything, and sometimes you get what you pay for. The low prices and short flight durations all come at a cost.
Coming to the $3000 that you paid. That was simply because you made a last minute booking, and that's how the pricing model works.
I really like your reviews, but these are things that are a life lesson for you.
Next time take flight from New York. Delhi to New York round trip costs less than 1500 CAD.
WHO advice you to travel with air India, we only travel when it’s so urgent or no other option, the airlines are pathetic with all manner.

From my personal experience, every international airline I travlled had an issue . And I am suprised how air India is sustaining still with such low prices. I hope Air India cancels the direct service to Canada,and all travellers are forced to take air canada or other connecting flights. Then these people will understand the real pain and shut thier shity compliants for the price they are paying

Air India is transitioning. I think you should have mentioned sir Tata instead of PM Modi as it is now under Tata. Don't know when you shot this video but the news that Air India is buying 500 new planes was out in the 1st week of December.
And 3000$ seems cheap to be honest if purchased last minute(Picked this up from some other comment where they said that you booked at a very last moment).
This year my family and I will be going to India next month for few days we r very thankful we chose indigo because last time we went in air india it was just gross..
I recommended you guys to go in indigo
