There are 2 cinematics and they were both used as a "trailer" and promo material. The rest are just in game engine knock offs. There were times you were buying Blizzard products just for cinematics. Times long gone with the rest of their qualities.

The only good thing about SL lore is that it finally did away with Sylvanas, artificially overpowered character, whose power in game was going astronomically high not thanks to a well written plot, but by a vocal minority of her cult fan base. Total crap of a character in comparison to Arthas or Grom Hellscream for example. Although her initial lore was admirable after death of Arthas, blizzard kept inflating her powers with only explanation being a vocal fan base.
