Blue ternatea is the new craze here in Philippines and I'm very delighted to watch this video. Growing the plant is just as easy as 1, 2, 3. Thanks to this vlogger.
@Evaline Sasheene Melgar, thank you very much for watching the video and for your feedback :-) You can also watch my next video on Blue ternatea where I covered growing it from Seedlings to Flowering - ua-cam.com/video/s2bhdOw6_H4/v-deo.html

@Priti Chaurasia Shaikh, Thank you so so much for your words, appreciate it :-) I try my best to make the video in a way so that anyone can grow plants easily and very glad to know it's working :-) Have a great day :-)
The tip about cutting the bottom at a different angle so you can tell which way is up is pretty smart. I've definitely planted a cutting or two upside-down before lol.
This plant (butterfly pea) is best plant ever I grow it like a money plant and it gives lot of seeds while I growed another seed which my farmer bought was not too good didn't give many seeds and flowers were not growing so it's depending on how you seed parent are and where you are growing!
Maybe you can please help me here then as I have become thoroughly confused ... some people at my Indian Grocers are saying that blue Aprajita is exactly the same as butterfly blue pea tea ... which goes by the botanical name of clitoria ternatea . They're also calling it Shankhapushpi . I find it hard to believe it is the same because on other videos I have seen different pictures

Sir, all your videos are amazing and very helpful. I have recently acquired few plants on 12-Sep-24 and will follow your tips. Kindly share which little flowers can be grown in 3 inch clay pots as I bought 10 such pots today. I need flowers and add colour to my small ground floor home garden. Thank you in advance.
I like your channel very much. I love plants. Now I gained ideas and techniques from you on how to plant butterfly pea seeds and of course its cuttings. Thank you very much sir. Green thumbs up!!!!
@romeo ceniza, Thank you SO SO much for your words, appreciate it :-) This year, I would show few new ideas to grow Blue Pea plant and hope you would like them. It's already in progress :-)
Thank you for the tips, i live in Republic of Suriname, South America and even here these beautiful plants grows. I used seven flowers in a glass as tea, i love the nice blue color and it didn't have a strong taste. Can the leaves also be used as tea?
A quick tip, i tried to soak my seeds but they were no sprouts at all even after 5 days, but after I stretched the outer coat a little with help of sand paper ( use sand paper to damage the outer black coat till u see a little green) and then soak them, within few hours u can see the sprouts starting to come up ( u can see it clealy the next day )
I considerd trying to locate seeds but we live at a high elevation in Eastern Washington State with a short growing season, long cool wet springs and hard deep freeze winters. I'm assuming this plant would grow best in a warm arid environment VS the cold mountains. It sure is a delightful plant and I love the blue flowers.
I wish I could remember if that's the one a couple weeks ago several people were saying it does not like real hot and constantly saw the weather but instead prefers some kind of shade ... I might have it confused with gynostemma pentaphyllum which they also call Immortality Tea .
If you wanted to go to a LOT OF TROUBLE AND EXPENSE, you could probably build a window"greenhouse", preferably with double pane glass. It would need to be 4 - 6 feet wide and high and 1 foot or more deep to give you enough space - if you REALLY LOVE the flowers - LOL. Are you above Twisp/Winthrop or to the east toward Spokane? I grew up in the Okanogan valley.
Very informative! Thanks for your video. Can it be grown indoors? I love tropical plants, however the weather in my area doesn't allow me to grow them outdoors. Do you know canna? Can they be grown indoors?
@Navya Nair, thank you so much for your feedback, appreciate it. Well, honestly saying I haven't tried them growing indoors but they are really very hardy plant. So, if you can manage to provide them at least 3-4 hours of sunlight, they should be doing fine. I know about Canna and would be uploading video soon. They can be grown indoors but please note that they need lots of sunlight to bloom well. Give them less water and less fertilizers and it would be better if you go for the drawf variety of Canna. Thank you once again and please let me know if you have any questions and I would be glad to help you. Have a wonderful time.
