Hung was a beast and stood above the rest. He was the epitome of a winner. He focused on the tasks, and didn't look to make friends. That's how you win on Top Chef.

I remember Hung being confident to the point of arrogance in season 3 but he definitely had the skills to back it up

I remember Hung always made dishes that made me bolt out of my apartment to grab pho or some type of dish with braised meats. That’s how delicious his food looked.

I doubt at that point Jackson's sense of taste is really back, maybe just a little, because he was still getting people to taste it even on the next episode. But honestly he's the person I'm rotting for the entire time, he came in with no sense of taste and smell and he's been on the top dishes more times than anyone ever had. It's fun to watch a brief scene of him trying to avoid letting people know he can't taste or smell, like when one of his teammate asks him to taste. I hope he wins, and I wonder how the rest are going to react when they finally found out he lost his sense of smell and taste, for the better part of the show and still manage to always be the frontrunner. Mostly I imagine people just recalling their experience with him when asking him to taste and all and how he answered it and how it all make sense now, it just cracks me up.

Cooking Indian food for Padma is a big yikes. Especially since two of Indian dishes went into the bottom this episode

Especially when both Buddha and Sam took the samosa and vindaloo to extreme by not cooking it properly
