Can you hike Eagle Peak with a 9 year old kid? Colorado Springs hike on the Air Force Base

My 9 year old son did and awesome job climbing Eagle Peak here in Colorado Springs! Eagle Peak is a 3.6-mile out-and-back trail with 2100' of elevation gain near USAF Academy, Colorado. It's honestly a pretty challenging hike that may not be best for all ages. This is a very popular hike, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. This video was captured during the spring so there was great water flow in the small creek and falls near the trail.
