Loved the video @Eagle Dynamics: Digital Combat Simulator! Can't wait for the next WWII Map and/or Asset Update. My Father and I are big World War Two/Korean War/Vietnam War period History Buffs so seeing Games like DCS doing Justice to Any and All Pieces of Military Equipment in History is a Rare Gem. Most videos on DCS that I've watched of late have been from @Grim Reapers, but I also watch @Growling Sidewinder, @Katronicle and his DCS Funny Moments videos and the Occasional video by @Operator Drewski.

Now I know what everybody is about to say when I talk about UH-60 Blackhawks in DCS, but the Blackhawk that we have right now is a 3rd party addon, which is fine, but it is also the L variant which is outdated and was replaced by the M model. So I am here to ask something of Eagle Dynamics. I am here to ask for a UH-60M Blackhawk module for DCS. This will also pair well with the AH-64D for DCS, as they will sometimes fly formations together and the 64s will sometimes escort the 60s in combat. This may be totally out of Eagle Dynamics Abilities, but it would be cool I and much of the DCS community have been wanting it and I know a lot of people, including me, who would be thrilled to see a UH-60M for DCS.
I'd rather have a UH-60A tbh. I like my 1980s stuff and more of that would be nice.

So, for real, make DCS: WWII Assets Pack for free! I paid for it and I will not mind at all if it becomes for free! WWII DCS is amazing and needs more players, however this pay wall keep many new players away.

I felt the same way with the SuperCarrier, Yeet the old one and use the new one. No reason for both... I have the supercarrier and wish I could use it in Multiplayer.
I agree and they should do the same for the Kuznetsov. Why it's locked behind Supercarrier for REDFOR players, I will never understand.

Love this map! But please give us more assets, like the radar towers to place them as statics :)
On the allied side they are built into the map, on the German side you can place Radar installations
@@EagleDynamicsTV Yes, but if they are only placed on the map, and not accesable as units, I can't use them in scripts (like Skynet or Moose) to act as a EWR ;-)

I wish DCS WWII would have more players but with IL2, DCS will have to come out with something big before we can get more players to make it enjoyable. I can't tell you how many times I get on and there is like one or two on a server with 90% of the servers having none.
I would play more, if they would finally improve the performance. I prefer IL2, because I can play it in VR, in acceptable clean resolution and details. I hope they will reach the target this year. Than Wags shut up and take my Money! :D
We have core improvements coming soon, we hope these will help.
Can we expect a Pacific theatre in the future? I'd love to fly an F-4U, ora a Zero... or an Avenger and sink ships with torpedoes!
In the future? We pretty much just got the Marianas map. For free.
F-4U is in the works and looking great, I'd too love a Zero to counter it though.
I have a question. Up until the 5th of august you get the ww2 pack with this map, does that apply to steam aswell?
Will there be more WW2 planes in the near future? I'm holding myself from playing DCS online because of the lack of WW2 assets. Those maps are cool but overall, I think there are only 11 WW2 aircrafts so far.

Has anyone ever seen more than 5 people on a The Channel map server? Map looks good, but unless you buy the individual missions and play single player the maps is simply not used. Like the South Atlantic map. Like the Nevada map. Like the Kola map will be and for sure like the Austrailia map wil be. I really wonder how the conversation in the office goes before they decide on a new map. As customers, I don't think we'd like what was said.
Is this "bundle" also available on steam? I'm really looking forward to shooting down some B17s...

The day Eagle Dynamics announces a Heinkel He-162 I will also join the 2. World War in DCS!
I don't think there is enough flight data available to make an accurate module, only German jet they can make is the me-262 and it won't be that accurate since all aircraft flying today are replicas

This. Tried getting into P-47 last week, but even when just doing the training 1v1 BFM missions, I can't see the enemy fighter even when they start right off my nose at 12 o'clock. Spend more time in F10 map than flying, and then being like.. huh, no joy, he was supposed to be somewhere right over there... Whatever let him find me to get on my six. One defensive manoeuvre later.. lost him again.. ffs, I can even hear him buzzing around
@@honzajedlicka6645 Turn on labels, you can set them to just be 2 pixel dots in the colour of the coalition.
This of course isn't realistic, but neither is being bound by pixel size. A live updated map most definitely isn't either.

I've just bought this map today and while flying Spit in Free Flight mission I noticed enormous lags. I have GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and it works perfectly fine on the Caucasus map. What graphics card do I need for this map to run the game smoothly?
Anything but a 1050TI. You can buy used GPU with way better performance. Or alternatively a 4060ti is you are on a budget or below depending on your resolution. 4060ti is good enough for 1440P and perfect for 1080
Is it automatically added? Do we get it if we buy one of the channel bundles eg. Spitfire and The Channel bundle?

Hi I must be missing something....the channel map does not show the ww11 asset pack BUT the Normandy map does??
If I was ever a WW2 pilot it would have to be an F4U Corsair pilot

I can NOT WAIT for that particular plane and it's ww2 carrier drop. That is probably the module coming out soon that gets my DCS juices really flowing... well, that and the f-4!

I think it is far from empty, but we are always adding to it.

You know what would be an amazing feature for the mission editor , if you could set the year for the mission and then only get the weapon options available at the time

To turn that feature on, in the mission editor at the bottom there is a watch icon. It does exactly what you want

Because this is a video on the channel map and last time I checked the I16 didn't fly in the Battle of Britain or Normandy Campaign

Make assets free or not required for clients online, If the host has them. WW2 needs free map to increase and draw in players, it's completely dead online...

There are Bundles on our Eshop with The Channel and 1 WWII warbird as well.
Well, Normandy is necessary for multiplayer so it's not a waste. Channel is prettier though!

Improve the flight dynamics first... One can't a ww2 airplane properly. No angle of attack exceedance, as if it had a aoa limiter.
