Could not agree with you more! We started our full time RV adventure last year before our move to Alaska. 5000 miles later and a trip up the Alcan we made it and met some amazing people along the way. With fall here in the valley we’re still full time RV’ing while home shopping! We love the freedom it’s afforded us. Best of luck!!!

That’s amazing! And it is so wild to see how quickly fall is setting in here! Are you planning on RVing through winter?!

There isn’t a lot of homes on the market. New houses were built on the road we live on last year and they were all sold before they were completed. In the mid 1980s you couldn’t give a house away.

Initially it was the plan, but we’ve been talked out of it. Looking to rent a place this winter. We over-wintered on the east coast last winter, but it was mild and we only had a couple weeks of single digit lows. We installed skirting on our rig and threw an additional heater underneath to keep things toasty, but we also have a sealed underbelly on our toy hauler. I’d love to hear from folks who have done it in the valley for sure!

@@therealbrusif People do it all the time. Most put skirting up. It gets pretty cold around south central. The best place would be near Homer. I live in Meadow Lakes and there is a place along the highway where people live in their Camp Trailers. We have one but we only use it in the summer. We have a house with R-40 walls. Where are you looking to rent?
