These cheers are characteristic of sports culture in Korea, they have cheerleaders - ex. Oner's sister is a pro cheerleader, she used to be a baseball cheerleader and is now a volleyball cheerleader iirc. I get if Caedrel doesn't get it because it's a cultural thing though.
I've seen the fan chant thing in KPOP too where companies or idol groups will create a fan chant for fans to say during concerts and stuff. It always felt really weird to me to manufacture a chant instead of letting it just be natural.
