- Pastrmajlija Traditional Macedonian Pita
I haven’t made this Macedonian Specialty for a long time ,so today I made it, and it was so good. I forgot what it taste like because it’s been so long I haven’t made it.
✅You can make this specialty with pork or chicken. I made it with pork the traditional way.
✅I also made corn beef and cabbage ,

✅Recipe for Pastrmajlija
3-4 pounds pork tenderloin

✅Marinated the meat with
Salt ( sol
Black Pepper ( biber melena
Paprika  ( crvena piper
✅Dough ( Testo
1 kg sifted flour ( Brasno
✅Activate the yeast
2 1/2 tsp dry yeast
✅( 2 1/2 m.l suv kvasec
1 tbsp sugar ( 1 g.l seker
✅1 tbsp flour ( 1 g.l brasno
1/2 cup warm water
( 200 ml mlaka voda
✅Lard is needed

✅Description
First, you cut the meat in pieces, marinated and leave it in the fridge overnight
✅the next morning make the dough 
✅knead it with your hands ,cover it and let it rise to double the volume 
✅Make 5 balls and make them like a boat ,

✅Filled the middle with the meat
✅Add lard on the top of the meat 

✅Preheat the oven on 450° 
Bake it for 30 minutes or till gets golden brown, take it out and brush it with the lard
✅Serve it and enjoy it. It’s delicious
