Great idea. I think it probably wouldn't apply a thick glaze, but maybe an even coat of a thinly mixed glaze. I'll try that tomorrow, if the mechanism will pass glaze materials through then I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work on some level.
I use a plant sprayer (bought at my ceramic supplier!) for glaze. Works fine. And is super cheap. It is hard to have an idea about the thickness. Ideal for glazes that like a thin application but harder for thick glaze since it is hard to know when it is thick enough.

Just checked and they are unavailable at the moment. It's very clever, hope they get more in.
It makes me wonder if something like this could also be used for spraying glaze evenly?
