It really depends on your strategy! Loading up before the split can give you a head start, but loading up after might allow you to see how the market reacts. In the end, it won't make any meaningful difference. Let say you buy 10 shares now for $80 each = $800, after Oct 11 split, you will have 30 shares @ $26.67 each = $800
