- Freestyle Live Jam while walking, with the EP-133 K.O. II (World Premiere ?). The K.O. 2 is a fascinating machine.
I had a lot of trouble (and still have) switching to the 3x4 pads grid. I know some people think it's cool, but for me who listens to 90% of music in 4/4, that's the problem with this machine. Other than that, the workflow is great, fun and fast. It's a pleasure to create with. Sounds good in my opinion.
Kanye West's acappella (Stronger - 2007) has been added after (in Ableton, not in the K.OII).

It's weird - theoretically, I too prefer 4x4 - but then I've spent more time with this and had more fun using it than my other pad devices which are 4x4 or 4x8. Saying that, I'd like it if they added a few more scales and modes would be nice.
They have a lot of modes, are they missing many?
Yes @ColonelForkEyes, I agree: the machine's workflow is really cool! The “Commit” key is very effective.
The 3x4 grid is especially problematic for slicing patterns... But personally, it's what I prefer in samplers.
For the scales, I'm coming out of years of KO stuck in minor. So it's already a revolution to have a few choices... and chromatic!

It seems to be a “decision” very constrained by manufacturing issues.
...I don't think it's a coincidence that all the other samplers are based on 4x4 (or a multiple). For me, this will clearly remains the biggest weak point of the sampler, which is otherwise fantastic.
