I did this years before others did locally. It worked extremely well for the 1st few years, then slowly more people started doing it. But yep still works, just not as well as before.
It all depends on your location and patience too

I scored a FACEBOOK MARKET PLACE buy today a N64 lot i did pay up on the bundle $110 but i should double my money and maybe keep a game i want to play also working on 2 more a huge PS2 game lot and a SEGA SATURN console crossing my figures on this one

Unfortunately, Facebook marketplace has become so saturated with resellers (both posting and scavenging) it is super hard to score very often.
5 years ago, it was a gold mine. Oh well, competition is higher now than ever.
I mainly just use it for large things that don't ship easily.

There was a fantastic gamecube bundle last night for $100. I messaged it with 18 minutes of posting and said I'd pay $150 now. She replied, that someone offered $200 and she was en route to meet.

Sadly, all facebook adds from "collectors" are just resellers that offer you pennies on the dollar.. I take the time sending you pictures of my items, I name my price and they still got the nerve asking is that the lowest you would go.. Sorry just don't like this way of looking for games. It scores negative one on the Git-factor scale :D
Everyone's opinion matters. As I said in the video I ask the person what THEY would be happy with. If it too much I simply move on. I do see where you're coming from.
Not me. If you have the right vintage paper (photos, Postcards etc...) I'll step up, no game playing. Im fair up front with sellers. Very few ppl know what these things im looking for are worth, but i want to turn the seller into a picker for me esp in a pandemic that motivates / makes hustlers $!

hey renebean, i've got a question for you; what model og xbox do you have? asking cause i'm somewhat interested in one, however i have no soldering skills so i can remove the clock capaciter, as it will explode and leak(as i'm sure you know). although i do know that the 1.6 version is different and fixed that issue

How do you handle when you want to resell on potentially some of the same groups or facebook marketplace itself. I see other people getting called out for taking advantage of other people and getting banned in the buy and sell groups I am in (I am considering posting ads, I never had and just low key make deals responding to what people post to stay under the radar. I also resell on those groups with console bundles). Do you just not bother selling on Facebook to avoid that?
