Just saw the in Vegas a few weeks ago. Klaus 75yrs old (lead singer) had complex spinal surgery in March, roughly a month later, he’s out there still doing this hit!!!! It was AMAZING!!!

Both replies are dumb. Both players are great. Uli is more advanced overall, but Mathias was a perfect fit for the 80`s and where rock was at. The solos in this song are among his best and most challenging IMO.

Scorpions would’ve never seen the heights without Jabs. He took them to a new level with his style of playing. His style is completely different than Roth’s, which I prefer to listen to.
@@jimedick9496 you hit the nail on the head man! Jabs playing is what solidified the Scorpions sound we know and love today 100%. Uli and Micheal Schenker are no doubt incredible guitarists but when Matthias Jabs came into the picture it was a whole different animal. Unbelievable what he accomplished and way underrated. He’s the real deal🤘🏼one of my idols forever

Not underrated, I heard it on the Radio in India. Scorpions' almost have 100% songs are fine, so some are obviously unnoticed, but not underrated. In western music history, there will be never be another beatles, scorpions, van halen, whitesnake ever, which was single handedly destroyed by Kurt Cobain. But time will come when Cobain will be forgotten.

It's really is. Rock believer is really good. My favorite Scorpions album is Savage amusement. Unbreakable is incredible and is in the vein of the 1980s Savage amusement / Crazy world/Face the heat / Pure instinct albums.
Gosh how i miss the lovely 80's , life was so cool, great music, nice down to earth folks and thankfully no mobile phones! Having said that what a classic track, the Scorpions at their very best! A great band and still performing after all these decades! Thank you Scorpions for the lovely music and the memories that you gave a lot of us.
I always admired their rythym guitar. If you listen, the guitar is always playing a melodic line behind the vocals. Not many rock bands did (or could do this.) The only other player I can think of who paid that much attention to being musical is George Lynch. I might be wrong.

There is so much going on in this song, it's incredible. The solo guitar licks in the background overlayed on the lyrics, the incredible chorus, and probably the best rhythm guitar of any band. Such a complete band. Klaus Meine has vocals that were sustained for half a century!
I can almost feel the cool alcohol buzz on those Bay Area summer nights as we partied to the scorps. In 83 ish times when it seemed music was as close to as family. I never could imagined the circumstances we are headed into now. Those days man I miss them
