@12:43 shows CLEARLY that they didn't touch the fast break system at all and all the game does is read your controller and make your teammates run in whatever direction the ball handler running.... When you passed the ball to Curry on the left side ALL your teammates came to the left side and once you went right ALL your teammates went right with you..... They SUPPOSED to play accordingly to their tendencies instead of reading your controller... THIS needs to be fixed to increase spacing but its been going on for years
I want to see more of the defensive side, want to know if paint defense has improved because I'm tired of contact, standing, and lot of regular dunks being unblockable when I'm standing right there pressing triangle.
Fr paint defense was ass especially with the fucking layups I know you had that one animation happen where the ball goes straight up and just lands in the hoop

CP sitting on the scorers table while waiting to be subbed in was a cool little irrelevant detail I loved to see. Also the shot making actually made sense. Open shots went in while crowded or contested shots did not. Dribbling and space creation also looks a whole lot cleaner.
I wonder why they dont add real player voices during gameplay. Like slight trash talk "thats weak!", "he cant guard me" "hes too little" ... but with real player voices... thats a major part of the game i never understood why they left it out

I wish they had a mode for MyCareer where when you’re doing your season you could play other MyCareer players on their teams online. Like if you get drafted to the Knicks and you’re playing the Hawks, you can use a matchmaking option to go up against someone who was drafted to the Hawks in their MyCareer. I feel like that’d be easier to do and would make ppl want to play MyCareer more

The courts and players look so weird the court looks spaced out which is okay and better but the body types look ridiculous and Draymond Green is not that skinny it's like they shrunk all the players so the field of play is more open
Court is properly scaled. Its the player scaling and proportions that have ALWAYS been way off. Just compare broadcast angles on 2k to real life and you'll see it.

It seems they didn't use pro play technology to get better shot contest animations. Defenders almost always jump to contest jump shots in the NBA. These shot contest animations EVEN on layups consist of the defender carelessly running up (sometimes right up under a jump shooter. A flagrant foul) and just raising their hand.

This was my first time on the controls for 2K24. Doesn't take long before you realize the direction 2K's going with the gameplay.

It’s really hard to gauge how good the game is watching a game vs the cpu. The game is always smoother when you aren’t playing online.
