This is a perfect video as a year later December 2024 just recently received the decorative Christmas bauble die set and having these inspirational videos do help me have the confidence to have ago and make my own projects.

You made the bauble go from magnificent to exquisite. The little angel is adorable, and the napkin ring is wonderful. Thank you for sharing the making of these treasures with us.
Dear Ms. Ruth: Greetings from Miami, Florida. Received die cuts today and am so very excited to attempt replicating the beautiful bauble you made. Along with the die set, I ordered the Turquoise Lake Glitter Card which was a spot on match to the paper you used; however, the Ocean Blue card you listed photographs Turquoise on Tonic's website--not the gorgeous blue in your presentation. If / when you have time, could you please suggest another color closer to the Ocean Blue card. (Perhaps the Ocean Blue card is just photographing as turquoise on Tonic's website?) I purchased French Blue card which to my eye appeared closer to the Ocean Blue but, on receiving, French Blue is a bit darker than the OB card in your presentation. Please do accept my apologies in advance for taking your time on this triviality... I just wanted to replicate what came from your Master's hand as much as I dare. Thank you, Ms. Ruth. @@marinarichter3461 Hello from Northern Ireland :) I used Ocean Blue and it has a beautiful light turquoise hue. It works perfectly with the Turquoise Lake glitter card. French Blue is definitely quite a bit darker. It wouldn't have the same tone on tone effect as the Ocean Blue. I hope you find this helpful :) Ruth :)
Trust you to come up with a way to make the bauble even more exciting! Love your angel, too -- a lot of Tonic sets have a similar shape that would be good for this.

Sadly, that bauble die set is sold out now. Would your project work with the Tonic bauble kit (#73)? Also, how do you get the two pieces of the bauble to come together so perfectly? Mine has gabs where it doesn't quite fit. Thanks for your wonderful ideas!!
Thanks very much, Marsha. It would work with either the bell or the bauble. I think the secret to getting the edges to meet perfectly is to make sure all creases are really burnished and don't rush the gluing process. I hope you have success with this :) x
