Want to know what Israelis and Palestinians in the Middle East really think about the conflict? Ask a question and I will get answers.
People ask Israeli Jews, Arabs and Palestinians questions. I go out and ask random people to answer.

that last two men show the contrast of the hearts of men. One with hope, against all that is in the world. And the other conforms to it's idea that money runs everything. Very interesting. Good video, as always.

7:35 This is what gets Israeli and Palestinian children killed. People in America and Europe rightly condemn this kind of blatant racism when Palestinians say these things about Jewish people. However, there seems to be a lack of condemnation against the hatred against Palestinians by some people in Israel. Not to mention, Israel has a powerful military that can put this hate into practice. The level of divisiveness expressed by this man, propped up by fear and the historical trauma that built that fear (in the form of European antisemitism), is what causes this to always spiral out of control. I know many of you reading this probably have a pro Israel bias, but think of it this way: violent extremism against Palestinians creates violence and death towards Israelis too; just look at this past week. Therefore, it is in the interest of Israelis not to wage violent war against Palestinians. For better or worse, Israel already holds tremendous power over Palestine (oppressive, apartheid power, to be sure), so waging additional violence against a conquered people is just cruelty that, while causing immense suffering for Palestinians who, as a rule of human nature, are not all automatically bigots or terrorists, but people just trying to live their life, also causes Israelis to suffer. If not even considering the suffering of Palestinians, consider the suffering of Israelis that vengeful, unnecessary war causes.

The Jewish guy at the end is probably right, though he sounded funny to the Arab. He says it is all about money, there will always be conflicts about money and progress goes in circles. It says right in the holy scriptures that the love of money is the root of all evil. He says he doesn't believe in protests because people go right back to the way things are after; he said they crawl back in their burrows and accept what is going on.
I love how everyone has their own separate opinion though. In America everyone tries to agree with the person next to them, like they don't have the courage to stand out or stand alone. He says people in Israel won't stand together for anything. It makes me happy to see that people care about their neighbors though.

When you are talking to a young guy who sitting with a girl he wants to impress, there is a big bullshit factor. I'd catch him alone and see what he really thinks.

The guy in 18:05 uses Greece as an example of a people that unite for a common cause, as opposed to his own people that look out only for their own interests. Let me tell you, this is what Greek people say as well, that the Greeks only look out for personal gain. So it's not something that's characteristic and unique to certain nations, rather a general sentiment prevalent everywhere.

I think it would be interesting to ask the same question in the West Bank/Judea and Samaria, both in an israeli and in a palestinian town. They might have a different view on this, considering that's were most violent protests take place.
In the end, I think what the jewish man said at 18:42 sums up the attitude of the average Israeli/Palestinian perfectly. Everybody cries and complains, but nobody does anything to better the situation.

Attention: The entire Arab world have recognized Israel and accept the Jewish people's right to exist. Arab Peace Initiative was offered to Israel over 15 years ago, wich states entire Arab world recognizes Israel and the Jewish people. They definitely have the right to exist and Israel is recognize as a Jewish state. Please, let's move on forward and make peace with each other. The world is becoming more dangerous every day, the sooner we make peace the better. I really hope Israelis read this and understand. We do not hate you, we do not know you enough to hate you. But, we want the opportunity to know each other, understand each other. Please open your heart and choose peace, it's the only option for a safer future. Greetings and blessings from Jordan.

Great job as always Corey. A question though: You have two variants of the English dubbing: in big and small font. Why would you need that extra layer of dubbing? It’s quite
confusing at times to try to read the text with juxtaposed lines. Thanks.

Click the "CC" button on the UA-cam player. It'll remove one of the layers.

The Observer let's start with this, you are not obliged to love them, just don't shoot them next time,i'll tell you something,in my country we used to have terorrist they carried bombs and we knew they were, we didn't stopped them in the middle of the street to avoid they blow themselvs, we used trics like to have an accident with them...maby IDF you have lots of young peaple under 21 few suppervisors,i know it's hard to control a large hostile area with minimum soldiers, but the worst is to neglect human life.

    • @meirtt
      @meirtt 8 років тому +1

ice man No I will shoot every single terrorist coming towards me with a knife. if you like you can take your chances with someone with a knife I'm not going to do so
I am going to kill any person who wants to take human life. Why should I care about the lives of those who want to kill me?
What country is it that you lived in?

The Observer in algeria; i'm still living in,we do have jews and share same traditions, but zionism is against our traditions of "struglle" for freedom.
