Great course! I think with another week of practice I’ll be able to do all the lessons without making a mistake.

Recently started watching your coaching videos, and I must say, they're fantastic! The Pirc Defense has become my go-to, and I'm demolishing opponents with it. Your guidance has been invaluable in sharpening my skills. Thanks for helping me level up my chess game! ❤

Would anyone here like lessons? 50 bucks an hour you cannot beat you cannot have teachers calling brilliant moves mistakes and brain farts, now can we?

    9. ...Ne5 is better because it is a better square for the knight and if white takes, then our dark bishop becomes too strong, whish is very much worth double pawns

Nh6+ is no brain fart or mistake, because: Rxh6, Rxf8, kxf8, Qf4+, and if Rf3, then get Qxh7, with the threat of Qh8+ and Qe8 mate. Hence why my opponent chose the other variation and went Qf2 instead of Rf3. And you know the rest from there. So, where did my earlier comment go? I do apologize if I came off as offensive, but you already know I can calculate deep.

I just finished day one and got all of the exercises except for the queen sacrifice in the fourth one. I must say I really enjoyed the positions you had for us!
    Edit: I went Kg2 instead of Qxh6!!

Love facing the English. I always start the game by looking to transpose into the Nimzo or the Catalan. Hmm maybe there's a better way.

I also find this video hilarious. It reminds me of the movie dumb and dumber when they have that BIG bus pull up, yet they point the bus in a direction without them. 😝

Your greedy rook actually can be eventually seen as the weakest link in giving your king no escape route

Another busy work to complete the training plan. I really liked the game analysis in the beginning. I see already improvements in my own games, especially because I solve all exercises without moving the pieces, which is a significant improvement of my visualization skills. But I have to admit I only was able to solve 6 out of 10 exercises this week. But it helps a lot to get your explanation each week to understand where I went wrong. Thanks again for this great opportunity!

Unwritten rule: You always take En passant, even if it loses the game.

😂 funny but I feel a certain way when I pass on an opportunity to do En passant.

I won a game that I was behind in because of that rule😅. They en passanted me earlier in the game so I knew they couldn’t resist it again, even though it allowed me to back rank mate them.

17:46 Qg8 is more direct , black blocks and you take , both queen and rook, no?

Great session. The training plan is definitely helping. Week 5 exercises were hard. I missed two of them but still, better than before. Thank you so much.

agreed. I fall into the trap of "e6 doesn't even exist" thinking because the course stresses e5 as the thematic move so much.

I did embarrassingly poorly with the positions. Hopefully someday I can get some of these in full - working on it.

I was in the same position I tried the woodpecker method and failed miserably. With more tactical training I’m able to do better.

You always gotta consider enpassant! It’s forced!
