I don't think I have ever had beef Jerky I didn't like, it's all good. Kind of like Bacon, all bacon is good, lol better luck next time, Good luck on the rest of your season
I have never hunted Elk, I would love to hunt one with a Bow sometime. It is on my list of things to do one day. After dragging my archery buck I got last month about a mile back to camp, I often ponder if I should ever try to elk hunt, seen how I hunt solo 99% of the time. Oh, and not to mention my hills and climbs back to camp according to the elevation on OnX was about 50 feet hehehe, its flat here and I was in hill country hehehehe. I Hope your doctors appt went well. I always go with jack links beef jerky, never know when you may run into big foot, i figure i will throw that to him and run.. ehehhhehehe. Look like a good solid lunch and treat to go along with it. I hope the lesson at church went well. Thanks again for always sharing something like that with us. I appreciate what you do. I have shot two elk solo. A good friend helped me pack one out, and another friend helped me drag one out with a horse, so I've been lucky.

How’s hunting going
Didn't get an elk. My son got a deer, and I still have some time to get a deer. How is it going for you?
It’s not the greatest I saw a ton of does but only a spike I still have a few days left
