Another awesome eipisode. Perfect background to install my new camo dipped panels on my Oryx. I am reminded of what Paul Harrell said in his 5 things about hunting. Number one, go where the deer are. Same with elk. Which is why glassing is so important. I hunt on public land in heavy timber and I love my Diamondback 12X50 binos. I do zoom back and forth and it is seeing different layers. I don't know how I hunted without them before. You need bigger field of view than even the best rifle scope. And binos do that. And, if hunting elk, do not forego glassing from the road. You can spend much of the first day weeding out areas that are just not showing any signs.

Should make one of these on black tail
You can't. Blacktails are known as ghosts for a reason 😂
