  • Another watch review and history video, this time about the legendary blue Santos de Cartier WSSA0030! I will be diving into the history of Cartier, both as a jeweler and as a watchmaker and I'll be reviewing the current iteration of the iconic Santos.

Beautiful santos. The blue dial makes it extremely appealing.

Good work..and brilliant autofocus! I have a recent medium 2 tone Santos de Cartier and I love it. Currently I have a navy blue alligator deployant strap with it, and the watch oozes class on the wrist and sits so well.
I really like the blue too...but I have made my choice.
You make a good point about the more 'slender' or rectangular watches . I have a Cartier Americaine which is superlative and uber-sophisticated but it has the habit of either migrating up my sleeve, or just not sitting right. (I am thinking of trying a deployant Cartier bracelet with it, but Brexit (pah!) has made interchange with Cartier very slow.)
    Good luck with the channel.

42hr power reserve is not good enough.

Not an issue if you are wearing it every day. A watch like this should be an everyday watch.
