Thank you for sending breeder information to me. I love watching your videos. Everyday is a tough day without my Bandit. It brings me joy to watch new life grow.
Such a beautiful pile of fat little lovelies! I can’t get enough of them! We are still searching for a Cavalier pup of our own, going on over a year now. We lost our Gracie to cancer and miss her beyond words. Fingers crossed we’ll be blessed someday soon too. 🐶♥️
Even though I have been lucky to have cavaliers around me for most of my life, I am still learning so much that I didn’t know about this adorable breed. Thank-you for sharing your expertise with us. Having sadly lost our last cavalier last year, it brightens my day seeing your beautiful litter of puppies and also updates on Jamba aswell! 👍
Apple is as cute as a button!!! I really like her!!! Villa is just a cutie pie no matter what white is on her. Charlie your Cavaliers produce beautiful pups.
I have a 2 year old blenheim (Lucy) and we have had serious ear envy of our tri-color friend (Hunter) who is from the same family line. Knowing Lucy’s less voluptuous ears are genetic is interesting! Thank you for sharing!
I've learned so much from you watching your videos and sharing your expertise with us regarding the breed. My blenheim boy, Kingsley, will be 2 years old in November.
Adorable little faces! Thanks for the explanation on nose & ear color development. Love following your puppies! Reminds me of when my Blenheim, Winslow, (now 8 yrs old & my service dog) was small!
The only difference between their descriptions in the Breed Standard is that the Tri should have black markings on a pearly white field. There's not enough white on a mismarked B/T to consider it as a "field" for black markings - it's essentially a black field.
When looking back at photos of my Blenheim, Gemma, I notice that the black between her nose and upper lip has got bigger over the years. Why is this and is there a purpose for the black other than being cutely beautiful?
The only purpose I know of for a black nose is to help prevent sunburn, which can lead to skin cancer. But it's in the Cavalier Breed Standard that the nose should be jet black, regardless of what color Cavalier it is.
@@chaskat35 thank you for your replies about noses and black and tans. So interesting and well explained. I love the gentle way you handle and talk to all your Cavaliers. Thank you for sharing them all will us.
Thank you for these videos! Do the noses ever not turn fully black? I have a tri pup in mind and his nose is still pink & spotty at 8 weeks. Both parents (tri & bleinhem)have full black noses.
Blenheim and Tricolor puppies are born with pink noses. They normally turn black during the first few months of life, some slower than others. Sometimes, pink spots remain as an adult - for a show dog, that would be considered a fault. However, it has no impact on anything else, and some of the best pet Cavaliers I've seen have pink spots on their noses.
I have had a few Cavaliers who did this, and I never found a foolproof solution. There are some supplements you can add to his food that will supposedly make him not want to eat the poop, but I don't believe it works. The best I can advise it to take a poop bag out when he goes, and scoop it up right away.
I’m confused why having little touches of white on paws or chest isn’t desirable for a black/tan. Aside from a show dog of course... Do people really care and not want to adopt those colored puppies? That is confusing to me.
It isn’t the “breed standard” and would be disqualified from showing. I personally think it’s unique and adorable! I think most people wouldn’t turn them away unless it is a owner who wishes to show.
Yes, it's in the Breed Standard, and it matters most when you are showing the dog, and when you are determining which dogs to breed to maintain the integrity of the breed. This might be a good thing for me to discuss in an upcoming video.
@@chaskat35 Breed standards are mysterious to most of us. It would be useful to learn more. To what extent do the standards pertain to functional traits? What is the historical context? What's just arbitrary? Is it easier to obtain a puppy who doesn't meet show standards though maintaining Cavalier Cuteness?
No - I see lots of individual personalities, but not correlated to color, as far as I can see. Other people swear Rubies are crazy, but I don't see it.

So precious 💖
Aw!!! How sweet!!! ♥️♥️♥️
How interesting this information is, such beautiful puppies.
I am always learning something from your channel!
Very Very VERY cute!
Pure sweetness!💞
All beautiful !!!!
How come the puppy with a little white is still classed as Black & Tan? Surely the white would make her a Tri?

And where is her mother
She is with them all the time. I removed her from the pen for a few moments so that I could do the video - then she went right back in with them.

thank you i never knew that
I really want one of these type of dog. What would I be looking at in $$$$? I don't intend to have it as a show dog, just a lap companion.
In the northeast area of the US where I am, all responsible breeders are charging around $5000 to $7000.
Ma che meraviglia li amo ogni giorno che crescono ❤️👍

My Cav 4 months old and he still eat his poop even I try every methods that I can find on the internet. Do you have any advise?

My Skye's Coat grew in much quicker than her brother's Coat they were both Blenheim.
So,cute puppy I would have a puppy I would not go anywhere sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.........,.......,..........,,

It only matters if you want to show the dog. As a pet the white spots are just more character...as if cavaliers need more of that!

I still want Zilla.
You don’t believe Cavalier colours play any part in personality, health etc do you, Charlie?
