My pawpaw loved this show. He had several tapes of it. This makes me think of him sitting in his chair laughing an asking me did you see that crazy thang. He died not to long ago. I miss him so much.

I use to watch these movies as well as "Francis the Talking Mule " and others on the 6 o'clock movies on KABC in Los Angeles about 50+ years ago. Always loved their shtick.
@thorpypoo I don't know how this subject got into this video. But let's look at this: Couples who cannot have children (something wrong with the plumbing perhaps) can get married. "If marriage is a right then why do you have to get a license?" It's a federal certification that you are married, it's not saying that you must have x, y, and z to get married. Think of it like a certificate. Furthermore, court cases have ruled that marriage is indeed a right.
Haha.... used to watch this at my Grandma's house. I wanted to use that logic on one of my math teachers, but I've forgotten about this show after so many years.
I know these old movies an TV Shows might seem hokey to some...but the humor was really quite witty.....I would love to have copies of all of their films.

I watched this every Sunday as a kid. God bless your dad!
Someone said you lost a shoe in some mud.
What is the name of the show?
Ma & Pa Kettle
They were so convincing that I have second thoughts now!
Just love them. Brings back a lot of memories of Sunday afternoons.
Same here. Along with Abbott and Costello and Laurel and Hardy and The 3 Stooges.
My math teacher showed us this video at the end of class today. I could not stop laughing.
I loved to watch Ma and Pa kettle, still do. They were great together. This one is hilarious. In all in the way you look at it. :)
This scene is hilarious, and very, very clever. Wonderful play on math!
The skit was "Borrowed" from Abbot and Costello.
Im 30 and adore these movies. This reminds me of the abbott and costello skit. :)
Such memories.....Saturday afternoons..... :D
My grandma and I watched these vhs tapes all the time I miss her so much
The wonders of maths!
The wacky world if Ma n PA.
I loved those old happy family movies from 1970s (watching them)
So wrong it's good and hilarious. Love those Kettle movies. Comedy at its best!
One of my favorite scenes from Ma & Pa! Thanks for posting !!
Grew up watching mama and papa kettle. Love the show big time ❤️❤️❤️
Those two make Jethro Beaudine seem like a Rhodes scholar!
Maybe pa could be trained as a double naught spy!
@@AUTISTICLYCAN Wasn't Jethro's term 'naught naught spy'?

I love it, I love it!!!! I'll remember that next time my son shows me how to do math!
I like this video. It would be cute to use in a math lesson with older students.
If only Maths was that simple when I was at school, I would have got an 'A' every time
I think this may explain some of the issues in Washington, DC.
Lmao omg. I loved these as a kid and I’m just 32 🤣
I'm liked the series as a kid in the 70's.

I love this. They don't make comedy like this anymore.
For a reason
Kids and I literally watch this very movie every evening!
👍This and "who's on first"1⃣ are the two BEST clips in the world! 😃Don't you agree?
"Better brush up Billy, I don't wanna see you boys cheated." Excellent.
My mathematician mother loves these clips! 😂🤣
What's really funny is that even though they are wrong, it all makes a crazy kind of sense.
I love the Kettles their so funny and such a cute couple. I first saw them in The Egg and I
_They're_ so funny.
Love the Dame's saying: Rattling those pots and pans. This saying stayed with me for years, use it every now and then.
Masters of Divergent Thinking.
Welcome to Common Core! LOL
My math teacher showed us this at the end of class today, and I seriously wanted to scream!!!!!!!!!!!
This is one reason I have so much respect for teachers
Another piece of classic comedy.

This is what plays in my head when I see common core math. 😂
Thanks for letting the world know you don't have a clue what you're talking about.
Have a nice day.
@EdselH. 😂😂 I have plenty of clues. Thanks for letting the world know you have no sense of humor.
May your day be fantastic!
i love Ma and Pa kettle!!!!! Old people rock!!!!
When did ma and pa get into congress?
that is how my teacher feels when we get a problem wrong and try to prove it to her that it is right!
Haha my algebra teacher showed this to us! It's too clever
Hello fellow Greggheads
I would love to hear Pa explain string theory.
Wow. This is brilliant
Genius comedy. I couldn't think that stuff up.
I first saw this in 2007, then saw it again in class last month.
Haha my professor just sent this to me. Epic indeed.
I love this video! I show it all the time to my students when discussing math formulas.
that sounds really painful. what kinda monster are you?
Too funny! Gotta love Pa&Ma Kettle
This video will give a mathematician an aneurysm or fits of laughter.
If only they still made movies like that

an absolute classic
Haha.... used to watch this at my Grandma's house. I wanted to use that logic on one of my math teachers, but I've forgotten about this show after so many years.
I love this video it's almost as hilarious as Who's on First
Well, Abbott and Costello did a math routine much like this one!
got the dvd. awesome so funny!
My mind was blown by that last sentence.
I know these old movies an TV Shows might seem hokey to some...but the humor was really quite witty.....I would love to have copies of all of their films.
They are doing the abbott and costello routine 7x13 =28, this is because the A&C writer John Grant worked on this script.
Brilliant, Ma&Pa knew it , and now I understand why at school I fluncked maths, I was doing it there way.
That's how I done learnt it!
SO LOL. THEY SHOWED THIS TO US IN MATH CLASS. M MATH TEACHER LUVED IT AND EVERYONE LAUGHED
I saw it as a young child.
Thanks for sharing that with me!
that just blew my mind.
They sure don't make them like this anymore! How funny!!!
Damn they made me second guess myself for a second lol
Lolllll so many ways in looking at math hilarious
It's February 2024 and here i am watching this 😂
You are certain! Sounds right to me! 😱
you are right! and they are still at it!! LOL!
Was Percy's birthday on 7/16. Born in San Francisco.
Mrs Zarambo would be proud! lol classic!
Remember Ma & Pa at the drive in theatre
Abbott and Costello show did this also with Mr Fields. Guess this one was done first
I was just playing a board game of mastermind with my 14 year old son. I think he is is going to the same school as Ma and Pa...
good ole Marjorie..one of hollywoods great beauties! LOL..gotta love her though
This is the same exact process that Abbott and Costello used in their math routine.
The Abbott and Costello bit was in my recommended videos and I just came here because it reminded me of Ma and Pa Kettle.
