Hi, I wanted to ask if you know what the copyright guidelines are regarding product photos that are advertised. Is it allowed to use photos of the products from the respective websites and, for example, create a collage with them?since I can't find anything about it on the LTK website. Thanks for helping!
Typically you want to use images that are known as Creative Commons or commercial/copyright free, however a collage might qualify as fair use if it's transformative, meaning it's been substantially altered or added to so that its purpose is no longer similar to the original.
I’m wondering do you I have to purchase clothing items in order to sell them? Do you I need to buy clothes, wear them, take photos, post them on social media, share links, then sell them?
Do you have to have other social media accounts to get started on LTK? I am not on any social media and have no followers, but I thought it would be cool to create fashion collages on LTK just for fun. You can't promote through LTK, right? You have to promote through other platforms, like Instagram or TikTok right? You can't create collages just for your own account? For example, what if I wanted to create my own outfit collage, can I post on LTK just on my own account without promoting it on other sites? I have an LTK account but for only keeping track of stuff I like that others are posting. Can I create my own posts with that account or do I have to set-up a different type of account? Maybe I need to watch some other videos of yours. 🙂
You’ll need to sign up for LTK creator and get accepted as a creator to post. You don’t need to have other social medias necessarily but it’ll help them know how and where you intent to promote the products
how yo check the total of your commission ? i mean somebody placed an order from my link and purshed 5 products through my link and it say 1 order and 5 items sold. so how do i know the total of the items orderd and i did not recieve any commissions on that

Not necessarily, you can do collages of your top picks or favorite finds as well and use photos from their websites
Also the option to make collections is not there am I doing something wrong?
It should be under the shop tab in your LTK creator app! If not I’d suggest reaching out to LTK directly
You can additionally create a collection when you’re creating your post!

Yes you can track which individual items are being clicked on and purchased

Some apps will have a delay in showing you commissions
How do I add links to Amazon or sites that don’t pop up on brands? I’ve seen tons of people with links to Amazon but can’t do it on my end
This is something you need to contact LTK about to unlock the Amazon capabilities for you! That’s what I had to do

You’ll need to download the LTK CREATOR app from the App Store

You’re welcome. If you’re looking to create posts, use the creator app, if you’re looking to scroll and follow other creators, use the regular app
