That pancake ice is very neat! What a fun dive when you were finally able to get down and stay dry. I dove on that sub once...cool shore diving site, for sure.
Oh man, this brings back my memory of jumping in the bonna terre mine waters and forgetting to zip up my drysuit after a surface interval. Quickest I have ever gotten out of the water in my life. I still managed to make the dive after dumping the water out. It was 55-60 degrees unlike your 32-35 degree water though. Stay safe and keep the videos coming. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them.
@@BlueyesBelow ya, scuba is a continuously learning hobby. I have added a check to all my dives right before getting in the water. In addition to checking my breathing gas I will check my drysuit zipper is secure in on the seating surface.
My Oh My Dusty 😱. That was a really scary 😦. . Sorry but that Ice makes me Very Very nervous ! It is a Beautiful Video 👍👍great job. And even found a few trinkets I saw . You are the Man Dusty… you Must Really Love The Cold 🥶 Work in it , and play in it …. 🤿 But I’m glad you got to get the second dive in, Pancake Ice and all ! ! And you had a good time doing what you Love and makes you happy 😊 Thank You For Sharing This Video 🙏🙏❤️👍 Looking forward to your Next Adventure 🤿⚓️🛥📸
I was watching for a fishing pole i lost there when i cast out and didnt trip the bail, almost threw the the guy in that was standing next to me , he was laughing so hard, Don
I’ll keep an eye out next time I’m there. I’ll get a bit more exploration in when the ice goes away. Just being cautious and not venturing too far from the exit!
It’s a game changer to have a drysuit and dry gloves for diving. Especially early season. I’ve got a couple suits now and like each for their own reasons. Try to go to a good shop and try out some of the rental dry suits before buying one.

Oh Man, it made me shiver just watching you slip down into the water! Cool footage from underneath though. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, that’s pretty tough to still dive 😆 those things certainly happen but we at least try to learn from them 😊⚓️

Cool video! What rebreather system are you using?
This is a Meg Tiburon
It seems my next big purchase is going to be a dry suit. Ha ha ha, it’s only money.

Just dive wet, dump some warm water in the wetsuit, gain a little weight so it fits tighter
I thought about it but I’m not sure if my wetsuit will even fit anymore. It’s been probably eight years 😆
I have the same hanger to dry out my wetsuit
Works super good, just quite big for traveling with it 👍🏼
