Damon loves her that much that he wanted to let her go, so that she can live her life as a human... That is love!
I know the path has been set and the scripts have been written but there is a greater story here. A story of redemption, a story of forgiveness and a story of love that I hopes plays out this season. I'm not too hopeful that the writers are that evolved but I'm willing to see it through.
