Are we Gonna ignore the fact that she was rechecking her phone literally every minute In the party...waiting for his birthday wish (even cried) and he was checking his phone everytime waiting for her reply as well ( seeing old photos as well)

Hmmmm, with regards to "love lost, ego won", there's just too many factors to summarize all of it in four words. Cause love ain't just about your feelings of want but how you see the other person. Doing such actions, while being unaware of if the other is feeling the same, is very much scary and risky as it may open old wounds. Don't you sometimes just want the other to be happy even if it means not being in their world anymore?
