Also, I've said this before and I'll say it again. Air ride is durable. We semi trucks have been running it for ages.
When I did my air, I ran the line thru a rubber tubing that has a ID that matches the OD of the airlift tubing. Particularly for areas that may experience chafing or wear... Just as a precaution. Been running my setup for 6 years with zero leak issues.
Sometimes I take a taco from Taco Bell & eat it.

So my one question is if you are able to have multiple air settings. The resting "to the ground"; regular daily driving; and then if you have a good in-between, like if you were doing a quarter mile run or something like that.

Got Airlift 3p about a week and a half ago, dropped my car off at SlammedEnuff to get it installed by the pros. I’m so anxious and can not wait to get my car back🤙🏼🤙🏼 wanted air since I was 16
How are you liking it a year in and how much did it cost for the install? I just got mine and am looking to bring it to slammedenuff as well
@@quindariousgooch1962 I sold the car in November, I loved it. Had a leader line break, other than that it was good. SE did an okay job of install. Not perfect but it worked

I keep thinking about going air. Only thing I fight myself about is the storage for the tank & compressor...
I don't know what kind of car you have but I drive a 2013 Camaro 2SS . It's trunk is not that spacious. I have a 5 gal tank , two compressors , two ancient crossfire amps and two separate side boxes holding 10"subs. I still have room for the spare tire and battery (granted they are tucked away in the stock hidden compartment. It doesn't take up too much space. I can still put groceries in the car.

An NX2000 or a B13 Sentra SE-R I really think the best choice now is to make a video about this. I have literally been asking for this every single day since October 28.

I would double check all the locking collars on the strut and if everything is tight you may need to reuse rubber pieces if your car had them factory for noise reduction. Hard to diagnose without hearing it in person. Hope that helps! - Jt

@ Dakota - you're in a cold weather state (WI) like me (RI). I saw yall talk about the durability of AL's bags from an abrasion POV.
What's your opinion on the longevity of the bags/system dealing w/ the extreme weather diff. (hot/cold) we both go through?
As long as you pay attention to your water trap you should be completely fine! Dakota has had no issues with his bags in over 2 years of Wisconsin weather!
Whats the difference between those are struts and D2 air struts? Which do you prefer?

3H, 3P and 3S what is the difference?
Difference is the ride height management system. 3S is the cheapest. 3P has sensors for pressure and 3H has sensor for the actual ride height of the vehicle

why is it 4,900?
Well, you've got struts, pump, manifold, tank, lines, harnesses, fittings, misc pieces and the controller. Then there's all the time to R&D the system, develop instructions and create an app. Then you've got the DFM engineering for production and packaging. Then there's shipping/distribution, warehousing, customer and parts support and establishing a vendor network.
@@dolamyte I got that. Perhaps it's different for every car. For My MR2 a 3H complete package caps out at $3,800 and you get all those things. So I was a bit surprised to see a 3P for 4,900.
@@aphromew4502 Every car is different and will need different equipment. The struts for your MR2 won't work on my mk7.5 GTI. There's also market demand for each platform and where their economies of scale are at. Struts for mine might be more expensive to manufacture but could be similar in the price we pay simply because there's more GTIs than MR2s getting bagged. Market share and volume will also affect price since the more you can manufacture, the lower the per item cost will be.
