- This is Day 3 of our Disney Alaska cruise, and we had an amazing day! We did the Dawes Glacier excursion which allowed us to get close to the glacier and get some beautiful pictures and video, and we got to see Mickey, Minnie, and friends dressed up in their cold weather gear. This is definitely a fun day worth watching to see the beauty of Alaska.

Just stumbled upon you guys by accident and LOVE you! Subscribed and binge-watching all your videos. My wife, son and I love Disney World & DCL and have our first Alaska sailing in May 2023 with my parents and sister/brother-in-law. I’m definitely showing them this series so they can get excited about what’s to come!!!

That glacier visit looks like a must do!
100%! It's not a cheap excursion (none of them in Alaska are), but we wouldn't want to do this cruise again without doing this excursion!

That looks so much fun. Alaska is down on our list since being in Colorado we see spectacular mountains every day, and want warm beaches on our cruises. The video here looks fantastic, and makes me want to do Alaska. Plus seeing the Wonder makes me miss our favorite ship.

Love these vlogs since the DVC Members Cruise to Alaska was cancelled in 2020. We didn't rebook. Hopefully some day. Thanks for sharing!

How do I register to do the glacier excursion? Is that only through Disney?
Yes. Some excursions can be booked through other websites, but this one specifically can only be booked through Disney.

Why didn’t they have chocolate options for dessert? That would have bummed me out too. The glaciers looked so stunning.
They did, just not any I could eat unfortunately 😕
Why’d they have to add food coloring to a chocolate dessert? It’s perfect without it. Oh well.
Did you all do the early or late glacier explorer?
We booked the late one, because if you do the early one you miss the characters in their Alaska gear. But on this sailing they actually combined the early and late one into a single time in between because of weather.
