- In this review, I talk about is the Boss Katana still relevant in the modelling amp world today. The Boss Katana is an incredible amp, however, how does it stand up against a lot of the other newer modelling amps out there today.
In my Boss Katana review, I go over the panel and Katana settings. I also demo out the Boss Katana to show all the various effects that sound incredible. This amp crushes.

I just got a second hand katana mini and its a brilliant little amp with a great sound for something so small at 6 watts. 50 watts seems way over the top unless you are gigging with it. But pretty cool that you can select the wattage meaning that you can play it without upsetting your neighbors.
The mini looks like a really awesome amp for sure. The wattage select really helps making it manageable for sure :D
one of things made me holding to purchase mkII 50watt....
FX Loops feature
because i must purchase 100w version to have that feature
Yeah, I agree. I wish they did have the fx loop on the 50
I'd say yes, but the spark might have more features and be better for a younger more inexperience dpkayet who wants an app to help get tones and perhaps the drum/bass player along feature will help if you don't have anyone to jam with
That’s very true. I think for someone starting out especially younger players that are still trying to find and experiment with new sounds and amps, the spark is a incredible option for sure :D

Yeah probably best I don’t put my money on my waist , wallet would be a better place .
