It's the annoying problem that too many developers in Silicon Valley use Macs. And so they think that developing for Mac first, and even Mac only, might be enough. smh.

@@Leto2ndAtreides@Leto2ndAtreides Mac is really enough; I use Windows only for some secondary tasks as it's just sucks compared to Mac Silicon! Windows is still a few levels below Mac in everything, except for gaming, of course !

oups - not accessible - You do not have access to this app yet. ChatGPT refuses the connection this application is not yet activated for me
You can actually bypass that screen by using proxyman to override the feature_gates json request. The real time voice feature is not out yet and my guess is that it is not ready for mass use. But you can use the normal voice feature with the new gpt4o model which is pretty cool. But the functionaility is pretty much identical (for now) apart from the screenshot function

If you override both the features and secondary features, VPN into san francisco, then it will reveal a voice interface similar to the one they used in the demo. It's clearly incomplete, but it includes some interesting UI changes. The voice isn't like the demo and does not have real time video. My guess is that we aren't going to get AI Scarlett Johanson any time soon XD. By the looks of it, the demo they showed was connected via a USB cable and with in airplane mode. My guess is that what they demoed takes a stupid amount of processing power and relies on real time streaming which probably needs optimising before it can be released to the masses.

I usually don't mind downloading stuff online, but it's super sketchy to just have a random link that downloads a dmg file. Biggest red flag ever, you should remove it and link to the actual source.
Do not download any app from untrusted sources. Especially when you give the mic/cam/etc access to the app! People starving for UA-cam views!

@@samvandillen I pray to God that we are able to use this. I did read a comment on one of the forums where someone said that they got it to work for non-chip versions. He said that someone posted a link to it somewhere on the forum. So maybe there is hope after all.
