As much as we take drench in it, we are not satiated, yet we feel very much thirst and try to quench further by playing, swimming in the ocean of Music. My late Father Pt. Ramachandra Shankar Dixit Jantali used to sing Natabhairav Raag with 'मोरे नंदलाल' बंदिश in विलंबित, and 'नैनन बरसात, नीति सारी रात' in ध्रत लय...। This used to be so impressive, that I used hide behind a curtain and go on crying, weeping engrossed in inexplicable feelings of ecstasy of Music...! This happened even when he was tutoring to his pupils. Another RAAG was Ahir Lalit in which he used to express all internal melancholic yet गंभीर feelings through his rendition, just it used to take me to another world. These feelings I got repeated with your above rendition, exploration today. It is a mystery that how I didn't notice this exploration. by you so far..., for more than a eleven months or so..!? कालाय तस्मै नमः...! Once again I thank you from bottom of my heart for this wonderful exploration and making me to express my feelings with my Father's singing as it is with your reverential Grandfather late Shri Vasantharao Deshpandeji... ! Dear Sir: I had the rare good fortune, privilege and pleasure of listening to your grandfather at a very private concert in Hyderabad in1955 or 56. He began his presentation with Raag Chayanat which is still indelibly itched my memory. This Mehfil is also linked to a very happy event in my life some years later.To my lasting regret I lost a cassette recording of his Hamir drut taal which was recorded at a private gathering in USA. Madhusudan Rajurkar, Virginia, USA.
