From One Voice Children’s Choir, Reese Oliveira (age 13) and Easton Shane (age 15) sing a cover song, “Hallelujah,” written by Leonard Cohen.
Did you know there are over three hundred renditions of Leonard Cohen's song, "Hallelujah"? Most people are familiar with the versions as performed by Pentatonix, Jake Buckley, and Jason Castro. The original songwriter, Leonard Cohen, had over eighty verses, and he performed "Hallelujah" differently each time he sang it. Over the years, many different versions of "Hallelujah" have become better known than others, with the top cover version being performed by Pentatonix. For Reese and Easton's cover song of "Hallelujah," they opted to sing Christian-based lyrics, as performed by Jake Hamilton.

ABOUT REESE OLIVEIRA:
Reese Oliveira is 13 years old and is going into eighth. She is the oldest of five children and she loves to SING! She has been a member of One Voice Children’s Choir since she was nine years old. Reese was recently named one of the 2018 Fab40 by Utah Valley Magazine, and just completed ten weeks as performing as Gracie Shinn in The Music Man at Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy, Utah. Reese also loves ballet and has been training with Barlow Arts Conservatory for three years. Through ballet, she has had the opportunity to dance in the Nutcracker, Coppelia, and as Mother Duck in "The Ugly Duckling". Reese has been involved at Hale Center Theater Orem as Young Cosette in Les Miserables, and as child #1 for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She has also portrayed Kira in Xanadu Jr., Annie in Annie, and Young Rapunzel in Tangled. She can be found in a few commercials and training videos throughout the intermountain region, and will be portraying Young Beth in the upcoming 2018 Little Women movie.

ABOUT EASTON SHANE:
Easton Shane is 15 years old and is an Endorsed Artist for Heritage Guitars out of Kalamazoo, MI. He has received multiple National Downbeat Awards for his guitar playing abilities and released his first album Roll With It October 2017. Easton has toured as an ambassador to France as a member of the One Voice Children’s Choir and also directs his own band BEKM. He loves to sing, play guitar and write & produce his own music. In addition to music, Easton is an Eagle Scout and loves to mountain bike and be outdoors.
