On the show today, we have with us a very special guest IPS D. Sivanandhan. He has been a former Maharashtra GDP who was once the Chief of the Mumbai Crime Branch in the late 90s. During his tenure, 238 gangsters from several gangs, including, Chhota Rajan, and the Abu Salem gang, were killed in the encounter. He is someone who is known for destroying the Mumbai underworld on the basis of his insane leadership abilities.

i am a teenager, and i love when older(not old-old but people who have seen a lot in their life) people tell a story and it is much more interesting to listen than even a movie with some life lessons too

My mother was at the Bombay High court 30 mins before the blast and in Colaba by 2008. We practically lived 1992-1993 riots in Mumbai in fear and uncertainty. I very well remember Army was deployed in Mumbai.

In case of brutality, Brazilian police, especially Rio De Janeiro are famous for being brutal as they have to deal with brutal drug cartels and Brazilian gangs like the Red Command. Look up BOPE, the best urban combat force in the world, trained by veterans from around the world. Mumbai police is effective but nowhere near the Best, nowhere near the two stated above. Mumbai police would have a hard time dealing with LA gangs or the Brazilian gangs and drug cartels. The brutality of the Brazilians would leave Mumbai police personnel stunned in fear. Have you seen their execution videos..??
