It AMAZES ME when the original Greek words have SO MUCH MORE MEANING than the "translation" into modern english.
I have always thought if "weeping" as that intense, can't breathe, dehydrating, from the gut, grief stricken, type of tears.
But hearing that it's actually the SAME WORD in the Greek as the rain Elijah called that flooded the desert, THAT really describes the emotional breakdown of this woman at his feet. Whore or not, we will all experience this complete devastating grief at some point in our lives. But will we kneel and give it over to Jesus?
I pray that we do.
