I'm on day 3 and I'm down 8 pounds already. Just hopped on the scale as a fluke and was completely shocked! Before starting I had already started changing the way I ate...but now I'm not hungry at all. I was only able to eat 1 hotdog for lunch...usually I can eat 2 at once...I barely was able to finish one. This pen is really a game changer for me. I also changed my exercise routine and I have way more energy to do it. I am so looking forward to my weight loss journey. Thanks for the videos...they are really helpful!
I’m on the end of week 2, on 1.2mg and in two more days I’ll go up to 1.8. The only complaint I have in terms of side effects is fatigue. These past two days especially I just had zero energy all day. No GI side effects yet, thankfully. Medication has been working great for me
Great video! I’m day 4 on Saxenda! I was on Ozempic (compounded version)for about 6 months, I lost 35 pounds. I’m hoping to get similar results with Saxenda. So far no sides effects and don’t feel the need to overeat. I do understand what you are going through with trying to get to the gym, that’s an everyday struggle!
Gracias 😊
I’m on day 4 and already down 3lbs. It is truly hard to process how incredible this drug is. I’ve been on contrave for months and the change was slow but Saxenda is a miracle for me. I do have some nausea but nothing crazy but virtually I have limited desire for food. I do work out a lot and I took maybe 5 bites of my whole wheat penne and abt 1/4 of a meatball before I got full. I’m subscribing for updates on your progress. We got this - I am so excited for you. Thanks for sharing!
That’s great! I remember soon after starting, I got full on two slices of pizza. Prior to Saxenda, I could have easily downed half of that large pizza! Thanks for the follow, and keep it up!! My next target is 200 lbs
You got this Kris! I plateaued in the last month but in the time I started Saxenda in January, I’m down 30lbs! Looking to switch things up to remain challenged. Rooting for you all!
Great to hear of your progress on this. I’m on Day 5 and have lost 4 pounds. My doctor knew I had wanted to accelerate my progress so I’m increasing dosage on every 4th day. Thankfully no crazy notable side effects.
I enjoyed your video and congratulations on your success to date!!! I am on week 2 of Saxenda and feeling great. I’m down 5 lbs so far. I look forward to watching more of your journey on UA-cam! Keep sharing your progress!! 🎉

@tracyjohnson9173 I stopped taking it long ago. The weight has not stayed off but that’s because I have not maintained the lifestyle change requirements to keep it off.
I'm up to week 6. I stayed on 2.4mg for the last couple weeks due to stomach pain and nausea. I felt progress after week 4 with some notable weight loss. Be gentle with the needles, take your time, don't press and you'll reduce bruising.
Im on week 4, I have IBS, so constipation is plaguing me...haven't been able to stay consistent with shots but I have lost 7 pds....I know it's not alot but I'm looking for options to naturally control my constipation...Thx for the informative review!
Hi, I'm in the UK, I enjoyed the video. I'm just about to start Saxenda for the first time! I value the information from your journey as I'm a little apprehensive. I have lost a stone in little over a month with diet alone but I have plateaued of late. Keep up the great work, I get inspiration from all the people who share their stories. Regards Mark
@kizzywitch hi I went to privatedoc online. Really easy process. I'm starting week 3 today and I've lost 4lb during that time. I started my journey on boxing day and I'm 18lbs down as of yesterday. I was eating sensibly using Nutracheck as opposed to MFP. I find it easier and more interesting to navigate and I pay a small annual fee. I weigh and measure everything that passes my lips. Good luck with your journey, hope you find what's right for you. Also I have enquired about the weekly injection, ozempic. I have 1.5 Saxenda pens left which I will use and then move over to the weekly.
Hi im also in the UK, I've ordered online from a pharmacy, was the private Dr able to prescribe through NHS or u pay for each? Each pen is £57 so it's a lot when it will only last a week. Wonder if I could get on NHS as my bmi is very high after 4kids. Also I'm on day 2 an havent found my hunger has gone down, does it take time? I'm confused
Hi, I’ve been taking four times already. I’ve been I get headaches. I feel nauseous and I’ve been burping a lot. Did you experience any of this and should I continue taking shots? Please give me hope. Let me know. What should I do thank you.

You might need semaglutide. Liraglutide doesn’t work for everyone. I’m on Saxenda, I’m a little nauseated like sea sick but I can still eat a sandwich whenever I want. Both sides. I don’t understand these people who only eat half of their food. I still want seconds and thirds.
What if somebody really does not eat much (me), half of a carrot is my breakfast no joke... For lunch I eat the same and for dinner I eat a mushroom with some vitamin supply. And I am still unable to lose weight, unfortunetly not even with saxenda :( My blood tests are showing that I mostly miss several stuff I need, but thankfully because of the vitamin supplies I take it is getting solved. And I weight 120 kg right now, which is stable as hell. Once I was incredibly curious and I ate a pizza the whole day as it is a much higher calorie intake than what I usually take and I did not gain weight and nor lose. Doctor says that my endocrym system is pretty much f**ked up as literal hell. Should I further take saxenda? Will it ever help me? If no, anny suggestions? (Eating more is not an option, I don't have enough money to eat enough, so please don't suggest me this)
I’m honestly not quite sure how to answer this. I’m not a medical professional or dietitian. Hi there!! Happy to help. Saxenda is a once, daily injection. The dosage amount steps up on a weekly basis for a period of 4 weeks at which point the max dosage amount is reached. Once reached, the max dose will continue to be administered on a daily basis but can be adjusted if necessary based on your continued discussion with your doctor. Other medications in this class of drugs are administered on a once weekly basis. Wegovy, for example, is one such drug. Does this help? Happy to answer anything further!
Hi. Not the whole pen. You'd probably not feel well if someone injected the entire pen at once. Check out my Week1/Week2 video where I talk about the pen. In short, the pen has a dial.
