I'm 80 yrs old, and have watched just about all the entire space launches. from the early 1960's till now and these landings still blow my mind. the accuracy is phenomenal!. As an American I feel a sense of pride, even though I had nothing to do with this. just a big fan. and patriot. ECF
It was a beautiful launch. I was near downtown Melbourne Florida when I saw the initial plume. The sky seemed totally cloudless. Was able to continue to watch with my naked eyes for many minutes as the rocket went through its stages. I have never been able to see the stage release nor boosters released through my naked eyes. Just an incredible experience for me today.
It's amazing to think how we went from watching the Apollo launches on the old televisions from the 60s to watching the Space X launches here on UA-cam. Technology has improved so much, it's almost mind blowing
I suppose that viewing it on a computer or your phone is an improvement over the old T.V.'s, BUT Space is fake and no one/nothing is traveling in a rocket to this non-existent place... Wake up.

So cool! I just hated how they cut to the single booster landing at touchdown and we could not see the WIDE shot of BOTH touching down! That is the coolest when we can see that and hopefully they will release that video this week!

It used to be that the only time you saw rockets landing vertically was in James Bond movie or science fiction movies. SpaceX has made it not only real but routine. Bravo to free thinking out of the box and taking the risk to try it. The launch game has entered a new era leaving old style, expensive, launching in the dust.

Yep. It would fit.

When I compare this video to the Apollo missions, I'm amazed by the quality we have today. It's nice to see a private company being successful at launch, payload insertion, and recovery also. Well done SpaceX!
Congratulations to the scientists, engineers, production, and quality teams. As another commenter said, what we are seeing today feels normal and common now. But the complexity of doing this is unreal and nearly perfect each time. It is truly a fantastic site, it's jaw-dropping awesome!

Also, if I had not watched this and seen the boosters coming down from high up in real life, I would have thought they were UFO's. Is it me or is this just incredible to watch the boosters coming down to land !!!
I was walking my dog looking north all the way down in Broward county, and I had a really clear view of this launch. It was just after sunset and there were no clouds. The boosters returning to earth under power blows me away every time.
I want to repeat the sentiment by @Raydio6 about always being blown away by these flights. But, I want to add, the landing of these side boosters, with the precision, accuracy and delicate grace, is surreal. Both of my uncles retired from NASA with the Apollo program and one is still alive today. They don't have the words to describe how it feels, or what it's like to comprehend these landings...

Our family is driving south on I-95 and we look out the windshield to see it rising up through the sky. Full view, no trees on each side of the interstate for 50 to 70 foot. No overpasses to go under during the whole event.. all the way through separation. We had no idea there was a launch, so it was a cool unexpected event... then we went on to the restaurant to eat.
I live in Merritt Island and have had the Luxury of Seeing Falcon HEAVY Launch and Return 3x and it's AMAZING Every time 😎 So looking forward to GOES-19 as it has been Delayed since April...😢
This has become such a regular and consistent event that it's easy to forget just how remarkable it really is. I'm mesmerized every time.

We could see the launch from Davie, FL. Perfectly cloudless day. We even could see the entry burns of the two side boosters. Just incredible.
